im going to take the guesswork out here and just explain a little about the car and provide a simple list of whats good and whats not so great.
standard features:
2.0L DOHC 4G63 with twin scroll 16g turbo
3 differential AWD system with LSD in rear
Xenon headlights
PW, PL, PM, A/C
intermittent front and rear wiper, rear defroster
Recaro seats
Momo steering wheel
Brembo brakes, 4 piston front 2 piston rear, with ABS
driver and passenger air bags
the only options im aware of on the 2003 cars is the carbon fiber rear spoiler, and maybe the moonroof. my car had rear spoiler installed at the dealer, and oddly has no third brake light, but is completely legal. no holes in headliner or rear decklid where the third brake light was removed, it was just never there.
now, that being said, heres a list of mods:
drivetrain:
ETS 3.5" intercooler
Injen hard upper and lower intercooler pipes
HKS intake
HKS 70mm downpipe
Helix 3" test pipe
Greddy 3" exhaust
Hallman boost controller
Tomei heat sheild
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
Buschur Racing 25psi tune
ACT street clutch and flywheel
suspension(all new, less than 1000 miles)
Bilstein HD Struts
Hotchkis springs
Perrin rear swaybar with Stout Mounts
all new strut mounting hardware(top hats, bushings, bump stops, etc)
OEM Mitsubishi rear end links
brakes:
Ferodo F&R DS2500 "street" pads
Works Slotted F&R rotors
interior:
newer floor mats, 20k miles or so
Autometer Ultralight 2 boost gauge in column mount
Blitz turbo timer
Pioneer head unit with USB on front
K9 alarm with 1 one-way and 1 two-way remotes
Evo 9 SE red stitched leather/alcantara F&R seats, and carbon dash trim
exterior:
JDM Evo 9 rear bumper
window tint
maintenance:
previous owner told me the car had the "60k" service done at 65K, but i had no record of it, so i did it myself around 90K. that includes, but is not limited to: all new transmission, center diff, and rear diff fluids, coolant, timing belt, balance shaft belt, tensioners, idlers, water pump, thermostat, spark plugs, wires, and i replaced the clutch slave cylinder because i thought something was wrong with the clutch. its just how these cars act and i wasnt used to it. had been confirmed by driving four different but similar(all '03-04) cars. its just a funny feeling clutch pedal. gotta drive it to understand it
oil is changed with 5w30 synthetic every 3000-3500 miles(lets all be honest here lol)
so theres about $9K in tasteful upgrades, and another easy $1,000 in fairly recent maintenance. on to the "not so good" bits:
1: knicks, chips, etc: someone bumped the front and rear of the car, im guessing during parallel parking maneuvers. theres no structural damage, no broken bumpers, nothing like that, but the paint is cracked in a few spots, and there are some rock chips on the front bumper and a couple on the hood. typical of an 11 year old car that sees a LOT of highway miles, often approaching triple digit speeds. no dents/dings in the car, no rust
2: car could use a front passenger wheel bearing, its getting a little noisy. i have the part, i'll do it if i can find time.
3: throttle body seals are leaking, typical of these cars. it doesn't cause any issues, just doesn't hold peak boost as well as it could. its a $20 rebuild, i'm trying to get to it.
4: brakes could probably use a flush. no big deal here
also, i have a set of Blizzaks that can go with the car, as well as a set of Comp 280 cams. i've been sitting on these cams for a year now waiting to buy a bigger turbo, injectors, etc and install the stuff all at once, just lacking motivation.
what i'm looking for:
low miles '05-06 MCS or JCW with Xenons and LSD. nothing yellow. mods are encouraged, but not necessary. will trade straight across the board for the right car, will accept cash as a supplement where needed. willing to entertain earlier cars, but again, no yellow.

forgot to mention 2 things:
the previous owner sprak bombed the calipers black. they dont look the greatest, but can be refinished fairly easily, and i have a set of new Brembo decals/stencils for them
-and-
the car also has a brand new set of 17x8 Work replicas and Continental ExtremeContact DW 255/40-17s. the OEM wheels are not included

Nice evo, if this was wicked white i would be driving down to WV like right now.
Free bump BUT you forgot 2 important things:
When was the timing belt/tensioner last replaced?
how is the transfer case (any whine?)?

I stated in the ad that the timing belt and all associated "accoutrements" were done at 90k.
And no, no TC whine, or any other drivetrain noises for that matter(aside from the slightly noisy ACT clutch). That would fall under the "not so good" list lol
Thanks for clearing that up tho
