Does the UUC Exhaust do the 05 MCS tailpipe burble?

I am think in of getting the UUC exhaust; however, I don't think i want to lose the exhaust burble that they introduced on the 05 MCS? Anyone with the UUC out there?

Thanks!

I have a 2003 MCS, put the UUC on during the summer of '03, definite burble and a good bit louder than stock. It is a good looking, good sounding, good feeling exhaust. Several vendors sell UUC products. Dealing directly with UUC on any potential issues can be challenging and time-consuming, as I discovered, but the company eventually made good in my situation (first exhaust unit developed a crack on a weld seam, attempted fix as suggested by UUC did not hold for long, promised a replacement that took many months and much effort before actually getting the replacement. UUC did throw in a shift **** for the troubles, however, and I like it as well).

UUC does burble when you let your foot off the throttle just a bit.

I know this doesn't answer your question about the UUC but, if you want GREAT Burble... go Magnaflow

Keep the stock '05 MCS exhaust. Great popping, burbling, much better flowing system than previous years.

Probably I am in the minority of people here that think the stock exhaust is more than enough for the car.

The '05 burble is caused by the ECU pulling ignition timing to ~-30deg. on sharp off throttle movement.

As previously stated, it does not seem to be the exhaust causing the popping in the first place, so changing it should not effect it (aside from volume depending on how loue/soft that exhaust is). Someone we know did not like the 'burble' on the 05,got a Dinan exhaust thinking the popping was caused by the stock exhaust, and in the end the popping is more noticable then ever since the Dinan exhaust is louder.

In contrast, I like the 05's burbling pop pop sound. If I go for JCW, Dinan or others tunning mod, will I loose the poping burble sound?

Bottom line.......put any exhaust you want on an 05 and it will still do it's thing. As stated above, it's not the exhaust doing it, it's the ECU. I have a Miltek. Still pops away.

I'm narrowing down my choices and Miltek is at the top of the heap! I need to see a dyno fo stock '05 to Miltek though, I'm not spending that kind of cash for 3-4 HP!

kaelaria, I understand your issue. And trust me, the Milltek isn't going to make a significant difference in performance like a pulley does. But in addition to the performance you do get, you also get the look and the sound. For me, when I put it all together, the price was worth it. But to each his own.

I have a dyno sheet on my '05 MCS with a Milltek and Rogue CAI. Mind you it was raining (humidity).... I do not have any stock numbers unfortunately...

Yeah I've seen sheets with the Milltek but no stock to Milltek comparison which is the only thing that matters.
