Great Newwsss!!!! its not a dacia sandero but the injectors work! like i suspected it was user error like the plugs not being pluged in all the way. enginen fired right up and reved fine. but dyno says top end feels better and low end feels a bit worse. but under WOT
i just reset the ecu via the gauges and using the bev tech software, after the test drive. so im at my bros house on the way home and through out the week we will see how the ecu adapts aand make it feel better.

thought i would make an update. car is running great. feels better now than it did before especially after clearing the ecu.
Also i was looking at my excel sheet of mods and future mods there isnt much left on the list...
Engine: 9/24 items left
- ATI super Damper +2%
- MSD coil pack
- Wires
- silicone intake tube
- GP intercooler
- GP Diverter.
- ALTA cat-back
- M2 Header
- tune.
Suspension: 3/12 items left
- Rear Sway Bar
- adjustable drop links
- adjustable control arms
Brakes: 3/7 items left
- EBC Ultimax blackdash slotted rotors front
- EBC Ultimax blackdash slotted rotors rear
- brake pads that can handle more heat.(something more than ebc green stuff)
after all of this it will just be little things hear and there, cosmetic stuff basically.

one sec let me go copy paste everything.

one sec let me go copy paste everything.
left a lot out but here is a summed up version. By the time im done i will have spent a little more than the amount of money i bought the car for in mods. and it will be a better MINI for it!!!

Some tools came in the other day.... just a few more things off my mechanics check list lol..... also my two oxygen sensors should be in today as well. i hope i will be able to install them tomorrow.
and because of this weird weather i had to apply a liberal amount of dielectric grease to my injector plugs because of moister problems. i was getting misfires and injector signal errors and it would ultimately shut down one or two cylinders.

O2 sensors came in... looks like i wont need them but only time will tell. i thing my lean issue came form cylinder misfires do to the connector to the injectors no making a good connection i slobbered them with dielectric grease and everything works perfect now i rest the ecu and all the adaptation and i'm only at 70 miles sense then so probably around 100-150 it will tell me if something is up...... if no problems i will just use them when i get my header and cat back so i don't have to take old o2's out and in again.

and i forgot to post this to got it for Christmas lol

car is going to stay with me untill it has literally fallen apart and is not even possible to repair anymore. i love it way to much. sorry buddy. you wont belve how many offers i get for it dude. and i turn away all of them.
little update.... my need to revert to my stock injectors. i keep getting random misfires. not sure if my old ecu does not like using ev14 injectors or if maybe it doesn't like the spray pattern. i also noticed some kinks in the wires to the injector plugs so maybe the wire are internally damaged. ill have to look some more on tomorrow or Sunday. i know a tune would fix this if its just the injectors, but i need to wait till i get my header and cat back in to do a tune.
it could very well be these piece of sh*t adapters that came with it. im still waiting for a different style to come in. it looks like usps may have lost them. its been for ever and no tracking updates yet sense they left Huston.

New parts came in!
Megan racing/M2 header and a mini-cat o2 spacer....
im gonna need opinions on this but i feel like im gonna have to hork out ton of metal on the ports. they look super tiny and the the ledge between the port and the runners is at least 1/4" maybe more. i also do not know how big the ports are on the head so im not sure what to do here. but the gasket is going to need some modding as well the ports dont exactly line up too well. over all thought the welds look decent and thats about it the stainless steel looks alright but wont look like that for long because next step is cermic coating. oh and im gonna get another bung welded in so that i can put in a wide band o2... also flanges are warped so gonna need to straight those out.

Make sure you bolt that header up to your head before you do any coating. I ordered one off ebay that looks exactly the same down to the o2 plug-bolt and there were 2 or 3 manifold bolts that just wouldn't line-up at all
god thats gonna be a lot of work... but ill make it happen.... im gonna grind down those ports and get them welded form the inside too, while im at it. same with the two bolt flanges.
ill ask around in the megan header thread to see if anyone else has had that issue.
Looks like you might have had better luck with an OBX header. Mine bolted right up. Ports were good the flanges were flat and even. Only thing is it doesn't have a flex section to it.
i just ordered a oem gasket and im gonna use that to see how well the ports line up as well as the bolt holes.
id rather have a 4-1 header with a flex pipe than a 4-2-1 with a ball joint.
plus i would rather buy a 200 dollar header put some work into it than buy a 1000 header and get the same results.

"raised edge facing head? or raised edge facing manifold?"
That's what i asked Steve, he said it didn't matter cause they get crushed..
I put the raised edges "facing" the manifold, made more sense…
He showed me a trick, if you have a couple of ten mm bolts cut the head's off and use them in the two outermost bolt holes to align/hold the gasket in place, while your putting on the header. made life very easy since, the header is an awkward fit..
