I fought and fought with mine too. They are a C.h. too small.. finally got em on but I was a but frustrated

Yeah just to make sure his scangauge was working, we plugged in the Torque app and took a spin and it still only reached about 15.5 Psi.

This was one of my runs from autox last sunday, first official time with the mini last time was seting up the course with my brother he wanted to make sure it was the way he had planned... car was stock back then. other wise the RX7 gets autox..

this is the only video i have the gopro died on me after run 2 and run 1 the camera flopped down. so did show anything..

this lap was 55sec my fastest was 51. it was very very cold and nobodys tires were griping that day. plus the car was still kind new to me with all the mods. i was stuck into SM too. so i was getting no trophies that day. other minis where getting 48-55 sec that day. and FTD was a 42.9 for refrence and raw times i placed 90 of 130 people. that was another problem lol to many cars so by the time your next run came up you needed to relearn the tack. it was litterly do a lap then wait an hour or more.

anyway with out further adou my bad lap....

no, but it makes a big diffrnece whne it comes to elevation, also condition of your sc/ engine, and if there's any belt slipage. i have seen 17.5psi on my car with a 17% pulley

Pretty sweet. Looks like a lot of fun. Dad took me about 10 years ago in his 1990 5.0L 5-speed Mustang to an event that our local Porsche club put on. One of the 911 guys went home and got his 308 Ferrari. They created a "non-Porsche class for me". I think they were a little miffed, cause I was a 19 year old kinda punky kid then, and I beat him by a whole second in my last lap. Granted I had 2.0 liters of displacement on him, but really I think it was the Tires -Dad had some super sticky ones then.

Anywho, thanks for sharing your lap, sounds like you got up there in 2nd gear a ways -seems like a pretty fast track. Maybe someday I'll be able to get into it as a novice again.

Edit, -20 years ago. Dang, I forgot how old I'm getting. I'll be forty someday soon.

That's good to hear, thanks. I also wonder if your boost reading in Torque is actually full boost if you floor it or it keeps increasing to full boost by 6000 rpm? 2nd gear run

Also, great car you have there. Wish everybody took care of their cars like that!

so after putting on my all seasons for the winter time I decicded to get some snow tires instead, my allseasons were dead and I looks like im going to be doin a lot of traveling this winter so I picked up a set of Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2. from my understanding and research they are the best of the best. and people love them in the colder climates of the world. I kept the same tire size for my steel rims 175/65/15. now to see how well they do in the snow and slush!

oh and I have forgot how mushy snow tires feel.

here is a stock image of what they look like

my Genesis 380CC injectors came in. i think im gonna wait to put them in untill i buy a header and a cat-back. i think it will be to much fuel if i put them in now, and will run way to rich. besides i dont really ring out the engine at all right now with the snow tires on, and no snow..

You should do a test fit of the injectors!

Hey Greek been tracking your progress from the get go...nice work.

Just curious on a few items.

1) internals - did you end up rebuilding the motor?

2) swift springs...thoughts and where did you get them from?

they are there to increase negative camber. they give -1.25* and when you lower it it gives you more. i have not put my car on a rack to see how much but from what i have read most see anywhere from -1.5 to -2* with lowering springs. a very good friend that has an eye for these things says i have about -2* degrees.

Did you ever figure out if the "gap" where the light shines through, is normal?
I'm thinking about getting one of these..
