Finally got around to installing this old alpine head unit i had... looks pretty good, yet not satisfied because i cant use the steering wheel controls anymore. :(

but it does what i want aux in, cd, radio.... although i may still look into getting a oem head unit that has the aux in.... or wait a few years and drop big money and get a nice system.

I dont have steering wheel controls and a non-hk stereo. I used a metra adapter, and I actually have an extra that i bought accidentally if you want it.

well my IE camber plates came in but.... they are broken looks like i am going to have to return them and get new ones.... and i dont know what other people think but to me the plates look really cheap, crappy welds, tool marks every where and just dosent have a nice finished look to them.

FWIW, I went thru hell w/IE when I installed their adj. plates. Took them 3 times b4 they shipped the correct parts. Went with Vorshlag adj. on the GP. Quality stuff and adaptable to different suspensions if you decide to change.

hey what a surprise the new ones are here! i thought i was going to have to send mine in, then they would send me new ones. and they look in great shape to compared to the other set i had. and some decent welds. they must have put a noob to weld the other set i had.

here are picks of the previous ones... i was just gonna fix them my self, re-weld, polish them up, etc. but was convinced to just get new ones it was way easier this way i think. lol

Given your skill level and the ease of the installation...I would say you would have this Job done in 3 hours maximum. Only reason they would come at 8 am is if you chose first overnight...let us know how it goes man... Nice work as always!
