Today I spent most of the morning at my plastic company, correcting the mold
for perfect fittment and no vaccum leaks.

Friday morning was spent airflowing the stock tube Vs. AGS and gaind 10% more airflow very exciting indeed. While we were testing the systems, Randy
(Maxmini) and I come up with a radical Idea how to increase the air flow
and in the same time lower the price a fair amount.

So, a shorter, larger diameter tube flows better than a longer, twisted, flatter tube?

Anyway, what sort of airflow difference have you measured between your complete system (filter to supercharger inlet) compared to the stock system, or to an HAI? What pressure drop are you using?

Can you define "soon"? It appears to have wildly varying meanings ... especially when pertaining to unreleased products.

Andy, I'd like to ask a favor...

You think we could keep this thread limited to constructive conversation about product instead of making unnecessary "jabs" at your fellow NAM sponsors? That'd be awesome.

Thanks man

All we know is that there is a plan to improve performance and lower cost. Based on the information we are given we can safely assume that those things have not actually happened yet.

Without knowing what the plan is, the only conclusion we can reach with this information is that there are efforts being made to lower cost and improve performance. The fact that those efforts are being made is not new information.

Hi Apex...

The small but very effective changes that was made, has not slowed down
the process of finishing the product. We are on top of the problems and as I
write this I'm getting readdy to meet with the plastic guy's to make sure that the changes in the mold is done correctly once and for all.

Team M7 is as excited as anyone to get the finished product out to the market place as soon as possible.....

Guess you didn't, but you are so interested the AGS.
Are you gonna get one? Huh...huh?

This post is defanitly more interesting and informative, thanks. It's entertaining to hear about the development process of a product when we're learning something about it.

i still say HAI; shorter and fatter tube hanging right on the newly located TB. meets the "improved performance plus lower cost" criteria.

After chatting with Peter yesterday, the SC tube or runner, as we saw here, is a done deal. It is fatter, and shorter (by virtue of being straighter) than the stock one. This alone makes for an improved 10% flow rate, if I understood correctly...

Also unlike the HAI, if I understood correctly, he's going to incoroporate a heat sheild of sorts. Earlier, I think Peter gave us an idea as to what type of filter he had planned to use... Well, with the slight design change (further simplification), the shape and the SIZE of the filter should change much.

Nope, I haven't taken a Dremel to the supercharger inlet pipe. What does that have to do with the purported gains of this AGS?
