M7 Air Gain System... Sneak Peek

Hi everyone....

It's Christmas eve and I figure a sneek peek of the "Air Gain System" would
cheer most of you up.

A little explanation of what's coming and what to expect......

The M7 AGS consist of a multitude of parts everything from T-bolt hose clamps
vaccume connectors and a new wiring harness with custom plugs.
The system consist of 16 seperate parts, all engineerd to make the install
as intuitive and easy as possible.

So what can you expect performance wise from the AGS, as it outflows any
system currently on the market by a margin. The difference is amazing
as the engine will rev faster and more freely.

We will have all the Dyno charts and flow tests available very soon....

Image two: our patented AGS tube

Image three: Mini stock SC tube

Merry Christmas

Hi Peter and Merry Christmas. Can you explain what you mean by "Air Gain"? Do you mean an additional way to get more air into the system or a replacement of the current intake system?
edit: I see in picture 3 the comparison to picture 2. It looks like a replacement. I've heard in the past that people have said this was the "weak link in the chain" as far as air-flow is concerned. Do you think it will be for just extremely modded MCS's or as something even an un-modded (or slightly modded) MCS might be able to take advantage of?

When you say it outflows everything out there by a wide margin, have you flowed the HAI setup. How much more does the M7 unit flow better than the HAI?

Back from presents and high caloric foods (and a nap).....

Regarding the flow capabilities we will have tons of data to share, that will
include all the competing systems on the markets (HAI included).

The install looks far worse then it is, as always our products come with a monstrous instructions manual and an online video instruction with blow by blow
how too's......

Regarding the "AIR Gain System" name all I can say, is that I liked how it sounds
and it does (gain) more air then any other system.

I attached another view of the SC tube Vs. the M7 AGS. The design is 4" shorter then the stock tube, situating the TB 4" further down in to the air stream. If you could look in thru the TB at full opening you would literally
see the super charger screws right there.

I can vouche that opening up that runner makes a huge different. sfjames2 has a non-pullied MCS and it is fast. A few of us went blazing through the broadway tunnel in San Francisco... him and his wife were in his MCS (intake & exhaust + runner bored out) while I had 2 other people in my MCS (intake, exhaust, pulley, unichip) and I wasnt closing in on him nearly as fast as I should have been.

drumanbass, I AM FIRST IN LINE... SIT BACK

A focus with a whopping 130 hp

When I said fast I was relatively speaking in comparison to a pullied MCS. All I can say is that if people consider Mustang GTs fast my MCS is also.

You " early birds " have nothing to worry about as the first production run will be in the neighborhood of 100 pieces

Is there such a thing as spending too much on your MINI?
