FWD-MX5,

That's a tight sqeeze from 4th-10th! Everyone was quick!

Was it wet enough for dirt stockers? Kumho's? I hear the 710's are fast. Did you see a set? What did you guys run?

Send my regards to Rob. Tell him good run!

Email me with your addy and #'s as they have been lost. I was too late to catch a ride with Garfield so I'm rideless in Virginia!

G Stock ran third heat and was dry on Saturday and damp on Sunday. H Stock ran 4th heat and was dry on Saturday and almost dry on Sunday.

It was wet enough for the dirt stockers for the first heat on Sunday, but the only car that I can remember on rain tires (other than full tread victoracers) was an AP Lotus and he may have been on Hoosier Rains not dirt stockers.

Both the Hoosier A3-SO4 and the Kumho 710 worked well in the rain, remarkably well. The winning SS car had 710's as did the top AS car, both running in the first heat, the wettest of both days.

All the top HS cars were on Hoosier A3SO3's except Scott Mullins/Chris Barth in the Tiburon. They were on Kumho V700 Ecstas. There was not a new set of tires in the class

It was a long way to go for a rainy event, but it was fun. Although I may be biased

I was running a brand new set of A3S03's and was more than impressed by their grip in the damp..but then again, I finished 6th, so maybe I wasn't pushing them hard enough!

Next stop, San Diego!

Augs, I didn't realize you were on brand new ones... I just checked brands, I didn't look that close at the tires themselves.

You had a pretty good showing for your first national level event. Sorry I didn't partake in the festivities at the party bus. I will definitely stop by in San Diego.

Thanks Keith!

Appreciate that and the tip on the exhaust bolt.

See you in San Diego!

Keith,

CONGRATS! on the win. It should be a tight battle at bremerton this year. I will be running Kumhos again but this time they will be all the same compound. I will be running the new 710's on 15 inch wheels............from the specs they are as wide as the 215 hoosiers so it should be a good battle, and they only weigh 18.3 pounds. I look forward to racing against you again.

Colin,
I thought you were selling your car? Decide to keep it?
