Any chance MINI5280 could swing a MINI Drive-In of the Italian Job at Cinderella Drive-in? How did MightyMiniz pull that off in California?

I know this is a long shot without Paramount's support because of the costs of movies--but it would be cool ! Just a thought.

The drive-in has two functional screens. I was there a couple years ago for a double-double feature.

The problem is that I can't imagine that they make enough revenue from a single MINI screening of the Italian Job to pay for the rights to play/purchase the movie. However, if paramount wanted to start a national promotion via MINI owners and Drive-In's, and offer drive-in's the film for a single screening--I would be willing to make a phone call to Cinderella. Besides DiD, you already do a ton of work for the club!!!

I'd be in too if we could pull this off somehow. Otherwise, let's definitely do a MINI-outing to an area theater for the Premier!

 

Has anyone tried to get this thing going or are we just going to give up and not do it?

 

Would someone mind contacting the Cinderella Twin on Friday. I ought to be somehwhere in the middle of Utah on my way to L.A. by the time the box office opens.
