Suspension set up for track...

Well okay so I'm getting close to hitting up the track for the two day drivers training at buttonwillow. I am going to have the following setting right now....

M7 USS (If I get it on time)
H-Sport Springs
H-Sport rear comp bar (soft setting, may up it to middle)
H-Sport comp rear upper/lower camber adjustment
Light weight wheels with (runflats or if I can sell them a set of g-force KDW)
A good alignment.

Should I be fine or am I nuts?

You're nuts! You've already spent too much money.

Should be fine.

Should I be fine with the CG-Lock or should I look into a Schroth Rallye harness? I would really like to find a used one of these, but you know how that goes

35$ for the GC Lock should do you fine
If you get the Schroth, you will have to get both driver ands passenger sides, most schools say you have to have the same belts for both (500$)

Just go to the track and be ready to learn a ton. It will take you many track days to get any where near the capabilities of any show-room stock MINI.

Don't worry about mods, just go to learn and have fun. To many mods may actually get in the way of your progress.

Oh, did I mention, Just go and have fun

Better brake fluid...

You should also consider changing to a high temp brake fluid like Motul or Super Blue.

I checked, the M7-USS, will be shipped out in February. Towards the beginning of the month if I remember right.
