Hey fellow Richmond/Charlottesville MINI motorers, the annual Cooper Vineyards event is nearly upon us! Once again, there will be a "spirited" 40-50 mile drive on the backroads to CV (RCM route from way back when) led by the Hampton Roads MINI group followed by wine tasting, MINI gawking, and lots of fun. DC and Carolina MINIs will be joining us as well! For those of us who have participated in the past, you know what a nice event it usually is, plus a good bit of the proceeds goes to charity. Newbies - come out and join us. Good wine, good food, and great people!

Maybe we can put together a little drive from here (Crown MINI or somewhere else in the Richmond area) to Bruster's Ice Cream on Staples Mill Rd to meet up with the other groups?

I was so looking forward to this,don't know if I'll be able to make it on sept 24 cause I've already asked off for the dragon and British car show south those weekends before and after..

I think me and the wife are going to take a drive up there Friday anyway since we planed on going this weekend anyway..

 

Thanks for understanding our need to postpone the Mini Cooper Rally at Cooper Vineyard. We sustained a good bit of damage to our new tasting room from the Earthquake and are hurridly making repairs. BUT by Sept 24 we will be totally repaired and ready for a big crowd. If you have not had a chance to visit our new tasting room yet, please come.. it is spectacular and as always the wines are fabulous!

Hey all... The tasting room is open today. We have sandwiches, hummus, veggie and cookie buffet set up for $5.00 a plate. No big Rally until Sept 24, but the new tasting room is all shored up and beautiful.... so come on over and weather the hurricane with us!

Well did the drive up there to see you guys I mist the post about the testing room being closed really wished I had seen that before making the 2 and a half hour drive to check out the new tasting room which was now under construction do to the earthquake and not being aload in,and the rally being cancelled for Saturday thought it was a good idea to come see it on Friday,not so much..

The wine tasting how ever wasn't all bad we rolled in there and hung out in one of there white tents where the wine was very good and they have some really interesting flavors,everyone should really try when it's all rolling again?
