I installed a HomeLink garage door opener in the center rail today!

It's attached to the bottom of the cup holder.

I was just coming into NAM to try and search what those two little bumpers were that I found in my glovebox...and you just answered my question with your photo! Thank you!

And that's why I love "sushi rail" (remember MINI video?)... So many possibilities for customizing....

Took the PACEMAN and COOPER S badges off the back to clean it up. Was a little too busy for me.

You can now order a PACEMAN or COUNTRYMAN debadged at the factory with Option Code 320.

That is a great news for people who are about to order the car... I got mine "off the lot", so I had to do DIY...

I got mine "off the port", but I will ask the detailing department to debadge as part of the prep for delivery, which happens tomorrow!

Back to update:

Wrapped the rear light rings in matte black vinyl.
Dropped off OEM roof cross bars and roof basket to the shop to be powder coated in satin black...

Will do, but I guess it will have to be posted in the adults only section. How'd you sneak your naked boot in the rated G forum?

A bit of "flare":

Enough for today...

This weekend I did a wee bit of work:

-Installed mudflaps
-Started installing red vinyl on my roof. Failed miserably.
-Instead took a small piece of that huge roll of vinyl and applied to my keychain. Successfully!
-Applied Paint Defender to front hood. Looks terrible. Need to re-do!
-Removed a ton of interior panels and hardwired...
-Escort MAX
-Laser Interceptor
-iPhone and audio cable from craven speed mount down to rail input jacks all hidden

Still to do
-Find a pro to vinyl my roof...or just paint it!
-Red stripes too
-Install LED DRLs

No pictures allowed till my roof is the proper color!

Had the resonator removed today! Sounds a little more throaty, and the pop & burble REALLY pops and burbles now haha.

Also plasti-dipped the headlight/taillight rings and MINI emblems!

When you sit on the driver's seat: just about bellow your rear, to the middle, under the car...

I haven't posted a photo of the paceman yet because I still don't have my vinyl done yet, but this weekend I got another significant exterior mod:

Not three weeks old and an old guy rammed me in the side on sunday! The side, door, and B-pillar are all crushed. Door doesn't seal anymore. I had a short time with the paceman, now more months of waiting for it to get fixed!

Oh bummer!! Sorry to see that, especially being so new. As long as nobody was hurt ... dents can always be banged out and parts replaced. You'll have it back in no time!

Nothing too exciting, added blind spot mirrors, activated my sat radio and figured out some more cool things the car can do. Hoping to swap the ebrake handle and plastidip the chrome headlight and taillight trim this weekend.

Any good tips on how you debadged the rear? Also how did you mask off the mini symbol to plastidip it? Looks amazing!!

I liberated it from the dealership!

Tomorrow, I pick up my 2014 JCW Paceman. I don't plan any mods (other than a custom shift ****, of course!) in the immediate future, though.

Ready to switch from a Base CM to Paceman S ALL4. Awaiting for response from dealer on whether another dealer will relinquish it.

I put gas in it whilst watching a little blonde hottie do the same at the next pump. Then I drove it like I stole it - which is an increasingly common occurrence lately.

It might be a bit out of your way but I highly recommend Prestige MINI in Ramsey NJ. I think from Bucks County its only like a 2 hour ride. They have a ton of inventory and my 14 paceman came on a truck with 8-9 new ones.
