Oops, completely missed your reply! Thanks! I just taped off a square around the emblem and covered the entire back of the car with plastic sheeting. I sprayed the emblem with a nice solid coating then once it was dry peeled off what I didn't want. There was a big enough gap between the inner handle part and the rest that I could peel that off, and same with the gap between the body and the emblem. Took longer to cover the back with the plastic than to spray and peel!

Hey arsci, how is the plasti-dipped on the headlight/taillight rings and MINI emblems holding up after a month?
Wandering if I should Dip or vinyl.
By the way, your Paceman looks awesome....

Phone mount - Pro Clip
I can never find an adequate location in the car for my phone, especially when I use the navigation.
So I got a Pro Clip today and it looks clean, also got a universal mount and I was also skeptical on this actual phone mount but it is actually very good and the phone fits snug with its cover on.
Will post mounted pics tomorrow.

This is a great thread to help track a new Mini being built through delivery.

Ill be taking delivery of my pace man next saturday an a JB+ is something that i want to do immediately. Ive already got a front mount IC, catless downpipe, and a few other performnance bits ill be throwing on. How much did the JB+ wake the car up? Ive driven a Hardtop with a JB+ but never a Paceman.

A benefit with the JB+ is it has constant power from a stop and when in traffic on the highway.
Sport mode also fixes this problem but the JB+ instead of Sport all time the engine is not always at higher RPM like when you keep sport mode mode on all the time.
JB+ with Sport mode is of course even better but I dont like always using sport mode cause I like to keep a little back for when I want a extra punch.
Sport also killed my MPG and the JB+ has not shown a real difference in MPG.

Do not fill the tank with E85, i.e. fuel containing 85% ethanol, nor with FlexFuel. Otherwise, the engine and fuel supply system will be damaged.

Ok, I understand. What seems to be the benefit? My personal opinion is that it couldn't be too good for the fuel system that isn't designed for it. From what I've read in the last few years with the High Pressure Fuel Pump problems is that ethanol might be a reason for them failing.

You benefit mainly from the octant benefit. e85 is the equivalent of 115 i believe. Similar to the octane of race gas. By adding a small mixture of e85 to the fuel system you raise the octane of the fuel leading to power gains as well as cooler combustion temperature and more power. Most people in the BMW community with the twin turbo n54 with jb4's or other power adders have been mixing in e85 for a few years now with no known issues.

Also how did you do your brake calipers? I blacked out all the beltline trim, headlight and taillight trim and front grille but I want to do calipers next.

Brake color kit:
Everything you need is in the box. I did 2 coats plus a little touch-up to get it perfect. I did all 4 in about 3 hrs. I did two wheels at a time using two jacks (I don't have stands).
Burger JB+: http://www.burgertuning.com/Mini_Coo...nce_tuner.html
Just plug it in. Takes about a 10 seconds to install.
