Talking Countryman Dragon Run (In Car Video)

Took Kowalski (my R60) and my friend Will from Group4 Autosports (riding shotgun) for a dragon blast to try out my new Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires! Great meeting everyone from here that I saw at the event!

I used this bar http://www.amt-engineering.com/stealth_hcm.html with a Cannon 5D MKII to record video.

Very cool video Kyle and nice to see you enjoying the CM to that level. I wish I had the chance to do this at your age.
Almost looks like my ride to the office if I choose to just take canyon roads - including the blockers although here it's usually a Prius.

Was so into the video I forgot I had soup going on the stove. Oh well, the dogs will eat it.

Looked like a blast! This is only fueling the fire for me - I'm pretty much set on buying a Countryman and it's good to know that I'll be able to enjoy it on the Dragon.

I heard you mention your brakes getting hot... do you think upgraded pads are necessary if you're going to drive it in a spirited manner frequently?

Your title says it's tuned. What exhaust are you running? It sounds fantastic.

Stocks will be fine, unless you're putting a whole day's worth of abuse on them... I upgraded the lines and fluid and had upgraded pads on order, but didn't come before MOTD.

Thanks! I have an Akrapovic DP (no CEL, I have a $3 fix for that... Message me if you need info) a JCW intermediate pipe (with second cat and resonators cut out) and then a JCW backbox

The CEL fix for the DP is just a resistor or something similar? I assume it does the same thing as the Akrapovic Delete R?

Nope... 18mm (in diameter) spark plug spacer on the bottom O2 sensor.

I was talking to a guy at Hendrick MINI in Charlotte today (didn't get his name but he seems so familiar) who saw your car run at the Dragon... seems like your reputation proceeds you. Said good things about how the car handled up there!

I seen you Saturday at the MINI's to the Point. It didn't dawn on me then that it was you. You have skills! You had the best looking R60 at the run.
