Deals on leftover 2011's?

Anyone bought a leftover 2011 and gotten a better than MSRP deal? My local dealer has six 2011's left and just wondering what kind, of deals people are getting.

My thought is probably not yet, maybe once they start getting there 2012's in, but right now they are still in short supply.

I ended up getting $1000 off msrp... But only because they had tried to get a car from across the country for me and the dealer in CA screwed them (and me) and sold it. So when they were able to find a car close to that one in terms of options they lowered the price to what I would have paid. In the end it was a giant hassle but well worth it... Basically got free leather out of it.

Just picked one up last week. Dealer removed the "MVA" and came down almost a grand. I got the impression there was not much more room for negotiation below that.

My local dealer shows five 2012's in stock so you would think they would want to move the 11's.

2Miniacs: I checked your dealer's website and saw an unusual array of three 2012 MCSs; they were all midnight black metallic with listed prices of $24,300, $31,900, and $32,650.

If they're dealing on 2011s, it wasn't apparent on their website. Maybe you should ask them, but their 2012 inventory is still trickling in. They'd probably like to sell you a 2011 MINI, but they're probably not desperate yet.

I bought mine off the lot 2 weeks ago and got $1000 off of MSRP. They had several CMs (non-s) with manual transmissions on their lot.

I was watching them for a couple of months via the dealer website and none of the manuals were moving.

I still don't think any have arrived yet, very soon though.

Just an FYI got $1200 (well $950 + last car payment) off when I ordered mine back in April. I think $1k off was about the average though.

Went by my dealer at lunch. They only have 2 CM's left from 2011.

Dealers are getting zero support on the 2011 Countryman through September. :(
