I'm thinking about selling my Challenge Spokes and getting some 18" wheels for my summer tyres. I'm looking at two, the NM RSe12 and the Breyton GTS-R (pictures attached).

Any have these on a Roadster and willing to post some pictures? I'm looking at silver, but any colour would help. Thanks in advance...

My opinion? NM. I had a similar question to myself earlier this year. Breyton or NM? What it really boiled down to was 2 things. If I wanted to get a BBK later then the Breytons would not fit anymore. Second thing. The Breytons are made in China, while the NM wheels are made in Japan.

Thanks, that's useful. The information I had said that the Breytons would fit over the JCW brakes. I intend to get a BBK when I need new rotors, so that's an important piece of information. Do you have any pics of the NMs on your car?

Let me correct/clarify myself. I miss read your post. I was speaking for the 17" size. 17" Breytons do not fit over the brakes while the NM wheels do. However I see you're talking about the 18" size. So that being said, I'm not sure if the 18" size does in your case or not...

sorry about that.

No problem. Thanks for clarifying the clarification. :-)

I'd still like to see the NMs on your car, even if they are 17".

Unfortunately no shots of the wheels on my car as of yet. Way too much snow for me to want them on yet. However I do have a shot from the user I bought the wheels from.

Here is his post.

If I do this, looks like the NM are the better wheel. I was poking around on Way Motor Works and now I need to decide on silver:

or gunmetal:

Anyone have gunmetal NMs of any kind so I can see the colour on a car? I'm looking for a chrome/silver based theme, so I do not want black wheels.

Awesome, thanks! I'll try and edit a wheel out of your pics onto one of my car to see. The grey looks a little darker here than it does on the NM or WMW website. Might still work though...

And here it is (I'm not a Photoshop expert, and I don't play one on TV...):

EDIT: Also managed to hack something up with silver ones:

The silver ones seems to pop more with your car due to the chrome line exterior you have. But then again it could be the lighting factor again...

Are you sure the 17" Breyton's won't fit my 2013 GP2 brakes or other large brakes. I'm going to test fit them tomorrow.
Thanks
Mario

Here is a link to the thread that talks about the fitment. It appears spacers are needed.

Not quite perfectly aligned, but I think this looks a bit better (managed to figure out transparency so the brake rotors can show through!). A bit less "poppy", but probably closer to the real look:

From what I'm seeing and what I've been able to picture in my head here, I like the lighter colored wheels on your car. And for reference I do tend to lean toward grey or black wheels. Even my wheels are black.

Did you use 5mm spacers?
