I was eyeing these as well, very nice!

I also noticed they were made in China which gave me pause

How long have you been running these? How are they wearing?

If you're asking me, that's not my Clubman. It's Paulteix's from Germany. I know nothing about the wheels except they are way too expensive and I'd rather get some Rays for that price.

Where did you learn that they're made in China?

Just spotted these in another thread on a different car and wow these look amazing on a Mini.. For some reason Tire Rack does not show them as fitting a JCW though .. i am gonna call them and see if its the offset not fitting over the calipers.. BUMMED if not.

BRILLIANT! And even better that you left the chrome.. not a huge fan of the fully blacked out cars.

Is your car by chance a JCW car? I see it has the kit and the side scuttle.
The reason I ask is because my JCW is being picked up this coming week and I would like to get a set but not sure they will fit over the calipers.

Had mine since last Nov. and no issues yet. They will not fit any BBK without a spacer. The concave design doesn't allow caliper flex without hitting the spoke. I used a 5mm spacer in the front and it worked fine with my DT BBK

No my car is a standard S with loads of JCW parts, wheels will not fit over factory JCW brakes without a spacer.

Planing to get this wheel in 18s when my 09 MCSa arrived.. From what i see on tirerack.
The offset is +40mm.
Backspacing is 5.55". <~ I don't know what this mean.
Anyone know if i going to need any spacers Front and Rear?
And i'm definitely need a Angle Stopper correct?
Also planning to go with JCW sport suspension kit.

Thanks for the info in advance! And those pictures are awesome!

Hi if fitting with standard MCSa brakes then no need for spacers, only require spacers on front if you're going for BBK.
No angle stopper needed as wheels will sit further out with more clearance at rear, I've fitted Eibachs on mine so JCW suspension kit will be ok

Does anyone know if i would need spacers for these wheels if i have the JCW BBK? I want to get these wheels in black for my Hot Chocolate Clubman S, i think they'd look really sick with the addition of the JCW BBK.

What size spacers? 5mm? on all 4? Did they affect handling much? Thanks

@thirsty fire - i have also H&R 35 mm on my clubman, that fits
@ssr56 - 5mm should be enough, but i would fit ´em on all 4. I don´t have a big brake kit, but will be the next here some pics of mine:

17 or 18 inch

I'm thinking of these wheels for my 07 MCS - Grey on My Astro Black

I'm trying to decide between 17" or 18" wheels -- Is anything to consider regarding handling etc in winter/snow ?

I live in CT and will likely go with a Ultra High Performance All Season tires

Thanks

I just ordered a set of the 18" blacks with red stripe. Unfortunately you can only get them through tire rack and they currently only have 3 in stock and I have to wait until June for the next shipment. One thing I have read is that if you go with a 18" rim a steering stop is recommended. Is this true?

BHozier - what I am doing is keeping my stock rims and I will just put a set of Blizzacs on them for the winter. That way I can put some summer performance rubber on my nice wheels and have winter traction on a set of wheels i wont necessarily care about. Just my 2 cents.
