JCW side skirt trim?

Within two weeks we are getting our car . . . FINALLY
I've been considering the JCW side skirts but if I look at pricing it would run at around $600 (possibly more) and that's not even including the paint...

Do you guys think the side skirt are worth it? At that price I'm really on the fence. I feel the money would be better spent elsewhere?
Are they the same regardless on what model (within the same year build)?

What do you all think?
Anyone knows a place to get these as a kit inexpensively?
The care is kite blue but I'd be perfectly alright to get it in gloss black since we have black accent all over the car.

I like the JCW side skirts but you're right, the money could be spent elsewhere. Tough decision.

What color is your car? It looks good on lighter colors but it's almost unnoticeable on dark.

My first choice was the S model, Pepper White with the JCW side skirts because I didn't like the black trim all around. I opted for the Eclipse Gray, and went with the black trim all around because it was not noticeable anymore. Remember, you won't enjoy your exterior mods because you will be too busy enjoying the motoring!!!

the car is kite blue . . .

I think you guys are convincing me it's probably not worth it even if it's still very nice to have . . . we get the car this Saturday so I'll know better how I feel about the regular black trim pieces...

I'd love to but I'm still on the fence about the run flat mostly because my wife is driving it most of the time and now that we have the car in hand it does look like a spare tire would take a lot of room. I know, I know, there are plugs but I know she would not want to use those and would feel unhappy taking the risk of being stranded, not being able to reach me :(

Untill we got the runflats i couldn't remember the last time we had a flat. Since the run flats we've picked up a nail on average of once a month, at least they got the name right for them.
I carry an inflater and plug kit in the Mini now.
Whatever you do, don't drive on a flat "run flat" unless you want to throw it away and buy a new one every time you get a flat.

Yes, you can drive on a flat run flat (up to 50 miles @ up to 50 mph). But the price you will pay is buying a new tire as driving on the flat run flat will ruin the tire.
The point of run flats is that you can continue to drive on them flat far enough to get somewhere safe, but when you get there you will have to replace the tire before you can continue on your way.
You cannot fix it, it will be ruined.
