Talking Ordered New 2013 Roadster on Saturday
Does anyone know if assembly line product has started on the 2013 as of yet?

finally in production
I have been waiting a few weeks for mine to go to the next phase. It went into 150 last week so not sure how long they are taking but hopefully Sept? That sound realistic??

You need a production number first. You'll get a VIN when they start to build it. Call your dealer and ask for your production number and then go to mini.com and go to the owners lounge and sign up.

Thank you for the info... They said it would take 8 weeks to build, ship and deliver a car. Is this accurate?

It takes about 8 days to build. Then when on a boat, it take 8 more days to NJ. Read the How To Track your mini thread it has lots of info.

Received my production number today, so far looks like everything is right. Thanks for all the info.

2013 mini status
Called mini and automated system says in assembly and completion date 9th. I was happy now the long part. I have can not wait. I am hoping for end of this month but guess is August.

Got my production number on July 4th. I should be recieving the Roadster S in late August according to my sales person. I registered at the MINI Owners Lounge and look forward to tracking the car.
