A few pics of Spiney, mainly from the most excellent photo scavenger hunt at MINIs On Top over the weekend. He probably won't look this clean again for a while...

Reason: Forgot how to link to Picasaweb!
Steven, he'll never be as clean and shiny as your masterpiece, but he does scrub up well even with just a regular wash!
I'm not doing the clay bar thing, and I'm not going to do monthly waxing, etc., but if there's something simple I can put on for twenty bucks or so once a year that would help I'd give it a go. Any recommendations?

Yeah, you might like this. Although, I'm going to recommend a paint prep like P21S Paint Work Cleanser. After a simple application of the P21S, follow with Jetseal 109. You would be good for a about a year Pretty simple right? You'll be super happy with the results.
Ok, so I do the P21S the first time, then the Jetseal 109 yearly after a wash? I could probably stretch to that amount of work!
Thanks for the recommendations! I'll post pics if/when I get around to it....
That's the stuff. P21S goes first, prepping the paint. Then apply Jetseal 109 to seal and protect the paint. It's durable, but I'm not recommending it will last an entire year I do mine twice a year, spring and summer. I think once you do this, and see how great the paint looks, you be hooked Good luck with it.
a few weeks ago I saw some pictures of a white or silver/white roadster decked out with way too many badges, etc. Now I cannot find it..any help as to where those pictures can be found? Thanks. My silver/white JCW roadster is about one month away from stateside.

I think they were here: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...821-post1.html but the images have gone from PhotoBucket where they were being hosted. Try PM'ing ny_yankee to see if he still has them, although I think he ended up buying something else, I haven't seem him on here for a while.
my thoughts exactly.. steven, what are you using to clean the arches and trim?
I don't use anything different on them. I wash the car using GlossWorkz for the wash, I like it because it doesn't strip away the shine and is environmental sound. The plastic looks good also with this product. http://www.chemicalguys.com/Glosswor...cws_133_16.htm

Wow - great pics. Especially love the look of your Roadster on the shiny wet roads and in the pea-soup fog. Nice event!
