R59 Post your R59 Roadster pics here.
After putting in my order on Feb. 13 and tortuously following the process (WW Topeka did not post GPS readings across the Atlantic & was 2 days late, so much anxiety), finally got word today that it's at the dealer, pickup on Friday.
MA sent the following cell phone picture:

Picked it up today!
Ready for pickup today, now with the stripes. It's a JCW with the Recaro seats, which feel really nice. Hope there isn't a problem with them.
Temperature was in the low 50s, but no matter, so far 100% top down driving.
Oh, and I guess it's time to change my signature, too. :-)

Your Roadster looks great, it has a very aggressive look to it. I like how you took a different path with the stripes

I have a question for you, do you have insulation on the underside of your hood. It seems like some JCW Coupes have been showing up with a black insulation pad on the hood underside.
I was wondering if the JCW Roadsters were getting the insulation as well.

The Roadster really is a great-looking car.
b&WCM, Nope, no insulation on the underside of the hood.
Here's a front view, showing the driving lights with protective caps.
I was told that the black bonnet stripes for a JCW have red edging, not so apparent on a red car, as opposed to the black stripes for other models, which all have white edging. Who knew?

So my car arrived about 30 minutes before closing today. My wife and I happened to be up there getting a part for her MINI, and we got to see it! Bad news, we can't get back up there to get it until NEXT SATURDAY
(MINI dealer is 100 miles away). Oh well, at least we got to sit in it :-) All I had with me was my phone, so sorry for the badish pics :-(

Can't wait to see more pics and hear your impressions when you finally get her home.

Just catching up after a few days up in Canada putting some miles on! My wife took a nice shot of Spiney III by the Bay of Fundy. We both love this car. It was 40 degrees and we spent a couple of hours with the top down. The heater is great and there really isn't any significant buffeting in the cabin at everyday speeds. The Roadster is the perfect MINI!
