R59 Post your R59 Roadster pics here.
It's a union jack in matte black et the "John Cooper" signature in red.
Well, it's happened. After all this staring at the shiny cars I've started to get obsessed...
My old cars got a run through the car wash twice a year, whether they needed it or not, and the nearest they came to wax was if my wife bought some candles.
I've cleaned Spiney at least five times since I got it, and it now has three coats of some Meguairs spray wax on it (I'm not at the paste stage yet, but I can see myself getting there next year after the winter).
It does scrub up pretty well. These are only phone shots, and I don't have the same eye for a picture as Steven, but it does look pretty nice, if I say so myself. These are my new winter wheels and tyres, see https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...in-boston.html for the full story...

Looks great and the wheels are nice too!!! I'm sure it feels good to have some decent winter traction.
I've been riding top down with my winter coat on and the heat cranked, but only in 45 degree weather here...when it's sunny
Mini Roadsters
I know that everyone loves the roadster with the top down, but you know, they look rather special to me, with the top up. Just me. Nice car.
Thanks!
Congrats Kristie!!! Looks great. Will look better with the top down.
Looks great, like the colour!
Looks really nice. Your wheels, trim, and colors go well together.
I finally got about 35 minutes of top down...I didn't waste a second to take a photo. I did get the "are yo crazy looks" from other drivers. thats what seat heaters are for! I'm hoping for a break in the rain this weekend.
Spiney,
You being a Blue guy like me, yes I know that my Lil Guy is Black & Red, have you noticed that MINIUSA in their configuration have now offered the Kite Blue as a no cost option. At first I wasn't enthused about that color, then while going past our dealer I saw one in real life. Not bad, and my wife even loved it. It was on a Mini S with a black top and stripes. There was a Pepper White roadster there too, and I think that I am winning the roadster battle with her. She thought it looked mean.

One thing I did notice though is that the JCW package side sills look a bit different.
Here's a screen capture from my 2012 order:

Note the small black "grilles" near the wheels.
Here's a capture from the Kite Blue 2013 version:

No grille that I can see....
I think that is one of the qerks in the way the the configuration works. No perfect, but it gives you an idea of a car will look like, not exactly.
As for your Lightning Blue, love the color, but it look sl
Ost exactly like my 38's color. Gotta be a little different. The 38 is the hemisedan.
