that is for r50/r53...
I need r58 ecu wiring output.i know it different than the n14s wiring also. That's my problem, I can't find **** on the pin layout or anything. ****ing typical, never any info on these r58/r59 especially the n18, most info is cross references from r56 which in most cases ARE WRONG.
and in the article, I still didn't see where it said what pin output in the ecu is tach signal. Thats all i need..
lol like wtf is this ?? No offense but geez , what a shitshow of instruction guide my god lol I can't make sense of their diagrams..

is that a pic of the back side of the obd port ????
I believe I connected my last one but that was my n14 but i swear I remembered something about pin#9 and it was a purple wire I believe ???

For an OBDII-compatible shift light, you can get the rpm readings from the OBDII port CAN-bus pins 6 (CAN High) and 14 (CAN Low).

AWESOME , thx you !
does the high or low have and differences in the signal ?
I will probably have to halfway remove the port so I can see what color wires then correspond to those pins..

I believe that an OBD-II compatible shift light must be connected to both pins 6 and 14. What specific shift light do you have and what do the instructions say?

Some shift lights require a single rpm signal wire, which is different from obtaining engine rpms from the CAN-bus.

Is OBDII pin 9 absent from or present in your 2013 R58?

If it's absent, you can use one of the coil signal wires for your shift light.

I haven't checked my pin layout or anything yet but I will this afternoon because the shift light is finally out for delivery.
I'd like to get it installed before Monday so I can enjoy it on my 5hr round trip. I'm taking my older brother to go possibly bring home an r58 S..
lololol I took him for a ride in mine in October and I guess he's been hunting one down to buy ever since amd has one lined up in Indiana..
Soooo Id liiiiiiiiiike to have this in there then..

I'm pretty sure this doesn't match our obd port.
my pins and wires were all different and pin #9 isnt listed in the pic and thats the one I used..
