Half of this cover of the backup light fell off. The light's fine I just need the small cover. Anyone know how I can get this? Thanks in advance.

Access to the screw thread

Push out the tow fitting cover at the appropriate
recess in the bumper.

John Cooper Works with aerodynamic bumper:
Pull out the tow fitting cover in the bumper in
the lower section, arrow.

You da man! Thanks a lot for the link. I didn't think of ECS tuning having it. I recently bought black headlight rings from them to replace my trashy looking chrome ones. Now I won't have to sneak up on some dude's Mini at Walmart and ruin his day! (seriously, there 2 cars identical to mine around Prescott, AZ).

 

since one fell off I'd consider some silicone adhesive (peels off easy) or some double sided tape to give a lil more grip . . .

 

Yeah I thought about doing that. Unless one of the other 2 owners swiped mine!

The original cover is backorder and MINI has no eta on when those will be in stock. Its been on backorder for a long time.

We have an option (no one else has) which require the whole unit to be replaced or you would have to cut it out of that piece and then adhere it to the old piece section with the cutout. If mine every falls off my R58 JCW, I will do that and either not use the rear tow hook or maybe just drill a small hole and the bremmen part so i still can excess it. We only have it with the PDC, which most MINIs have in R58 and R59 versions. Some people have it in R56. Most have it an R57 and they had to have it for the US MINIs

The factory part finally came back, usually they dont come back from the dead but this part did. We still have the full piece on hand if you need the whole section.
