It Followed Me Home

Guys,

I need your help here. Had to make a quick trip to Atlanta this morning and this followed me home. Should I keep it?

2013 R58 S with 36,000 miles, 6-speed manual, black 17" MINI wheels, automatic climate control, heated seats, MINI Connected package, Xenon beams in black housings. 5 hour drive from Atlanta was addicting. While the view out the rear window was challenging, I didn't feel my view was at risk. The ride was firm but not uncomfortable. According to the trip computer, I averaged slightly over 38 mpg - all constant speed interstate driving (but I've never placed much faith in the trip computers).

More photos to come when a get out from behind the wheel!

Cheers!

Congratulations. It seems nice to me and furthermore it is a 6 speed which in my book is an added value over the AT.

It depends what your using it for.

It's a fun little car to drive and it can hold more things then some other Mini's.

Handling turn in is good but it does tend to understear when pushed hard in corners.

I have owned mine since Jan and it still makes me smile. Especially in Sport mode.

For me, it is my daily driver since I moved from Nevada. How I fit in the cabin is far more important than if it is a fun car to drive. I sold an Infiniti G37S Coupe when I bought it.

It fits like a glove and it has been my main motivation to buy a Mini Coupe. I hate the HT and the other models and it would have been a no go for me.

My other motivation has been the large cargo space and the ease of access. I don't need rear seats and never use them.

The performance of the JCW is just a bonus but it took a little upgrade as the JB+ not to miss too much the 330hp of my Infiniti.

Overall, if you are thinking of a daily driver, the Coupe has the best of all Mini about chassis dynamics and cabin comfort. The doors are wide and the access to the cabin is easy, The JCW fabric sports seats provide additional comfort on long trips if you have the package.

It takes some time to feel comfortable with the side and rear windows.

I had hoped for a nice low mileage coupe to follow me home, but never happened, so I spent a year and a half looking until I also found
a 2013 with only 14,600 miles equipped the way I wanted it, similar to your find😊

Richard touched on something be careful with the passenger seat back angle and location don't obstruct the right rear side window.

I won't tint the windows because I don't want to limit my visual picture at that location.

I like that color, what is it? My windows are tinted so the little rear ones a pretty worthless. You can get an amazing amount of stuff it in even with the cover in the back still on. I can get 2 sets of golf clubs back there if I lay the long clubs on the cover. I love driving mine and even with the sport suspension it's not too harsh. I never got 37 mpg though. Maybe 32-33 on freeway. 27-28 in town.

White Silver is the official color assign by MINI, but New York State choose to call it White on my title and registration😳
