Well after much trial and tribulation. Planets aligning, paperwork and authorizations people not being on vacation I finally got my new car Wooooo Can't get into details with what had occurred with my 2013 fjcw r58 but having a brand new 2015 fjcw and one of the last that was produced ( production ended in April 2015 for the R58/R59, none the less a fjcw) I am a happy camper !!!! Loving the auto ac and xenon's, led fogs and armrest that 2013 didn't have. Otherwise they are identical cars + all the harness upgrades and softwear and thermostat changes too boot. Took 1/2 the day to install all the little bits that I had on the 2013 and transferred over. Now I can get back on to my too do list of mods as I had to pause purchasing things pending the new car. Those NM WHeels and rear sway bar were always at the top of the list. Now the ECS CF intake. GP2 splash pan and rear diffuser and maybe the NM or OEM strut bar and that new Helix IC No fancy pics. Just a few quick garage pic's Happy camper once again!!!!! Thanks. I thought you may like my choices. Lol

Already put the deposit on the helix IC. Couldn't pass up the discount and free ship.

I'm torn between wheels / tires. And the GP2 stuff. If I do the wheels I blow my budget for a while. If I do the gp2 stuff I can get more stuff

Decisions decisions. Now if a CERTAIN VENDOR ( cough ECS cough ) can put together a smokin deal for the belly pan and rear diffuser and clips and shipping to 11701. I just may be inclined to blow the dust off my pay pal account!!! lol. 😁

Welcome,

We don't have a sale on those or anything right now and they are too large to qualify for free ship to that zip. Looked into other ways to help you out. Get the intake by itself on order so you can get the free ship on that.

BTW that color combo on the R58 JCW looks sick. When I wanted to get a used R58 JCW that was one of my picks in colors but the one I looked at did not have all the options of the Chili red one I found.

Love the R58 JCW ! Its one of a kind.

Thanks

300 miles. And being that it rained on and off I spent the 4 hrs I had washing and waxing and cleaning.

Windows tinted. 50% ( can't go any darker. keeps the coppers from bothering me ......barely ).

Re planning my routing of radar wiring but decided to hold off as I think i am gonna add the home line mirror retrofit so I'll do it at the same time . ( btw. What's the actual part number for the mirror that I need. I know what I need to do just wanting to confirm mirror part number for an R58. )

Still debating what too buy next.

Forecast says dry tomorrow. Probably going down to local car meet. Need to drive more.

My understanding is the homelink mirror won't work in our coupes because we have a different mirror mount than the normal hardtops. I may be wrong, and honestly I hope I am as I'd like to add it to my coupe as well.

Noooooooo. Are you sure. In the back of my head I always just focused on the electrical aspect. Never even dawned on me about the mounting.

I'm not sure, but that's what I've seen/read in a couple places.

Congrats, that's pretty cool getting one of the last one as it's like getting the best they had to offer.

Don't waste money on an intake they don't make power, the Intercooler and other mods will be much better money spent.

Also don't need to do the entire GP diffuser kit, you can just do the rear panel if you want to save and it still looks good as most don't even notice the ducts missing.

So if I'm reading correctly. The link posted states that an e88 1 series vert has the same mirror as an R58 coupe. So all I would need is an e88 mirror with home link and follow previous wiring discussions and I'm in with a home link equipped R58.

Am I missing something?

Yea, that's all the info I gathered when trying to find mirror caps that fit the R58 R59. And I don't know if the e88 wiring is the same.

Thanks
