HK rear speaker soft

I have a HK 10 speaker system in my coupe. The back tweeters and 6x9 are very soft compared to the front door speakers. Is there any way that I could increase the sound like the front speakers? Would it make sense to replace the back speakers? Could I add a amplified bazooka tube to the stock HK system? Anything would help, just trying to enhance my music for my commute.

you could try adjusting the Fade in Settings > Tone so you have the backs getting more of the sound. i do this in my Coupe and HK and it helps balance out the sound.

I think the back speakers in the Coupe as well as the Hatch are supposed to be "filler" as opposed to producing the main music, sort of like the rears in a Dolby 5.1 surround system. In that system most of the stuff on the screen comes through the 3 in front. Same here.

If I don't want them as fillers, can I make them louder? Any suggestions?

If moving the fader back and turning them up louder compared to the fronts won't do it You will probably have to get someone to adjust the amplifier's EQ. I think someone did that but I have no idea how. Try a car stereo shop. You might get more reply on the Audio/Nav forum here.
