ECU upgrade for R58

Has anyone done ECU upgrade on R58 here?
if so,
which company?
how many trouble free (CEL free) miles?

also,
any aftermarket CAI installed on R58?
if so,
which company?
how many trouble free (CEL free) miles?

been looking around the forum and don't seem like many actual posts from R58 JCW owners.
read here and there that R58 is pretty much same as R56 JCW but i'm getting mixed responses from shops.

thank you for the replys

PS
called HELIX (im close to philly area) and they aren't sure either.
Eric's been away and others weren't sure about ECU and CAI.

safe to assume when you said JCW, its R58?
thanks for the recommendation ScottG

spoke to Eric @Helix
seems like no ECU is available yet (according to him) for specific R58 purpose.

Yes....I have the 10th Anniversary Edition of the R58 JCW Coupe....you can also consider the AEM Intake but you have to remove the very nice and contoured heat blanket on the underside of the hood....erg....bonnet!

Pictures attached.

what is the difference between the two?
also the bracket change they mention on second one is kind of confusing.
wonder if it only pertain to N18 engines (S model)

Do you have an N14 or N18 engine?

And the R56 and R58 are the same from the waist down....aside from the different engines.

sorry, i should've made it more clearer.
my bad just assuming my sig is read by everyone.
it's 2012 so N14

been waiting for HELIX to reply with similar question.
i'll probably get the one you suggested (NM CAI) unless Eric @HELIX has something else, then which i will probably compare.

thanks for the help every one.

Sorry, sigs don't pop up in the app.

You have a plethora of tuning option for the N14.
If you are close to helix they can tune it for you. I'm not sure if they use RMW maps or not, but either way you can't go wrong with them.

No kind words. Too many people wanting someone else to hand them everything.

i understand what you are saying.
just confusing sometimes trying to get JCW R58 pieces.
even the DOS site you helped with the link shows the CAI that had not been released according to the website, with expected release date of 3-28-13.

as I stated before, i get different responses regarding R56 vs R58 compatibility even from manufacturers.

regardless,
did order the NM CAI.
thanks everyone for their help.

Not sure why there's a release date on the dos cai as its been available for a long time now. Maybe it means 'in stock' because that's the exact cai I have and it's been on my car for a year.

Same with me. Clint with DoS makes an excellent product and an unique design for our cars. Had my DoS intake on my R55 before removing it and putting it onto my R58 JCW.

Basically you should not be searching in the R58 threads on the forum and look in the 2nd Gen Modification sections of the forum. If you have the N14 engine, pretty much everything out there that works for the 2nd gen cars will work for yours. I have an intake, intercooler, BoV, boost taps, oil catch can, Seafoam fogger, coilovers, sway bars, control arms, gp diffuser, 3rd brakelight relay, gauges, short shifter, etc... All made for the R56 and it all works 100% on the R58.

So trouble free miles on the R58 will be the same as trouble free miles on the R56.
