Forgive the poor quality of the video (iPhone), but the sounds comes over. Better to follow.

Does it sound much different? I can't really hear much difference then the standard. Not giving you a hard time. I can barely hear mine with the music pumping. So I don't have any idea.

Crappy iPhone video. The noise is definitely different. I agreed to the exhaust not so much for the noise but for the change in performance.

But your point has merit based on the nature of the video.

How do you feel about it performance-wise?

Designed from the ground up for the R58. They had the car for almost 3 weeks. The new exhaust will be available in March I believe.

Feels urgent and a better powerband. No dyno numbers but given the average performance change with their other products I'd say I am close to 200 hp in non-overboost mode.

Robin,

I can't confirm that is the case. Borla never confirmed or denied that the exhaust was any different for the R56 version they sell. I would think the differences would be the power curve based on the new engine but don't quote me on that. If you're friendly with your MINI service department talk with them and see what the say.

so just to be clear, they took the borla for the r56 and then custom fit it for your r58?
