R58 MINI Coupe Roll Call
Yikes
Sorry! It really reeks. But you saved money on the deal so it's probably worth it right? I know I would take the savings v earlier delivery.
@tcassa.
I think you can get the NYK schedules here:
http://www2.nykline.com/vesselschedu...nableCheck.nyk
From the looks of it, there are ships leaving Southampton destin for Port Hueneme on September 18th, September 25th, October 2nd, and October 9th.
I would imagine that both WW and NYK (and possibly K-Line???) are used to bring MINIs to through the Panama Canal and over to Port Hueneme.

I'm hoping your absolutely correct cause it will increase my pleasure level and decrease my stress level.
If it is as I suspect I will be going
with anticipation.
It's great to hear that a bunch of you guys are in production! I think I am waiting until October for my build. I am still waiting to find out my build week.
Wooooo hoooooo. Mine too. Being transported to port of exit!!
I sure hope a boat comes soon. I would hate to be waiting at the port for a couple of weeks. That would NOT be good. This according to AskMini. Website is not updated to En Route yet.
Regards,
Pat

I'm not really sure. I know that my car went into production on the 6th. Yesterday I checked ask mini and it said it was in the paint shop. Today I called and ask mini said it was waiting for transport to the shipping dock.
It's typically only 8 days from start of production to completion. If you have a firm production start date almost always it's just 8 days to completion.
My MA didn't give much info and ask Mini is horrible for timing etc.

No mods for me other than non run flats and wheels. I intend to keep the car as stock as possible. I didn't mod any of my others cars either.
That seems right then. My coupe went into production 9/8 @ 9:45 which means it should be completed on 9/16. Don't know if they transport to the dock on the weekend but it should be there by Monday or Tuesday. I thought I saw a link that there was an NYK-Line ship heading to PH on 9/23 so maybe our West Coast coupes will be on that boat. fingers crossed.

- Monday "In Paint Shop"
- Tuesday "Body Shop"
- Wednesday "Assembly"
- Thursday Morning "Complete"
You went in some crazy order :P
I was Body Shop yesterday... today I am in Paint Shop.
I am expected to be done tomorrow on 9/16.
I'm hoping my MINI can get on a boat leaving 9/19 and arriving on 10/3 in Georgia. It will be close.. but I'm fairly sure they deliver cars on weekends so I should make it.

Ether way, There are two ships leaving for Baltimore on the 17th. Lets hope the train can get it down there before they leave.
Production completed here as well. Going through final QA and then off to the port. Looks like we are going to be obsessed about boats and hurricanes in the up coming weeks.
So who has a final destination on the West Coast and who is going to the East Coast?

Hmm... I'm still scheduled for production to complete today.
@PatM,
It is in the spreadsheet as your port of destination. I updated mine to show Port Hueneme, CA. You just need to scroll the spreadsheet to the right in order to see the (many) other fields.

Added a row for Dealer City as Port location gives us an idea of East or West of the Rockies but does not tell us where your final delivery will take place.
