Help Me Identify Packages and Upgrades!

Dealer I bought the car from knew nothing about Minis and I keep discovering upgrades! Help me figure out everything I got. I did already find the Sport button

Like JCW trim in the doors, carbon fiber in a couple spots, I can't really piece it all together, so shout out what you see!

Well that sure is a much easier solution, thanks! Looks like a dealer stop to say hello and get my service record would be handy.

The sport button is standard. As far as factory options, I see clear turn signals, hood stripes, and chrome package. For aftermarket or dealer installed options, I see the JCW aero kit (includes plaque on the door sills), OEM or aftermarket auxiliary driving lights, and what looks like an aftermarket gauge to the right of the tach.

Pop the hood and post photos of the engine compartment. There might be some mods there.

I was wondering about that gauge. It usually points straight up at. 0 and has a range of like -2.0 to 2.0 g, so I guess it can measure g force in a turn. Usually too focused on turning to try and glance at it :p

g-force is uncommon in an auxiliary gauge (people usually want things like oil and water temp). I suspect it might be a JCW gauge installed by the dealer: http://www.motoringfile.com/2009/03/...retro-fit-kit/

Yup, that's it. Now I am wondering if it would be cheaper to swap it fr something more useful than the $500 it costs to add from scratch.

I will snap a underhood pic tomorrow, but I am now guessing everything was dealer installed. Build was as follows:

- Cold Weather Package
- Sport Package
- Premium Package
- Chrome
- IY Trim
- Park Distance Control
- Fog lights
- Bluetooth

Under the hood, nothing really caught my eye.

Thanks!

First minor mod at the Nevada Mini Adventure this weekend. Dropped in a K&N High Performance Air Filter to replace the stock one (just the filter, not the whole assembly).

That's a nice interchange yellow with the matching seats and JCW II Body kit.

The JCW single pop gauge on the side looks nice. #2 in diagram.

You could change just the gauge out for the coolant temp gauge.

Indicator Cooling Water Temperature - Celsius

The R111 wheels look good on the interchange yellow convertible. You have a very nice R57.

Thanks and good luck on the mods.

Excellent idea - that's added to the list. So I'd only need the Indicator Cooling Water Temp - Celsius? Mfg Part#62110445458?

How complex is the job?

Next is to figure out how to get a chrome ring around it....

I'm not sure if you're still looking for this, but this has helped me tremendously. You'll need google translate.

Luckily there is an official Mini dealer near me and they pulled a full readout for me. The best part was discovering I was still in warranty for a while and that it had the extended maintenance plan!
