zefferus.com windblocker question

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-M...Q5fAccessories

The description states that it fits all Mini Cooper convertibles. I asked the seller if it fits the 2010 model and the reply was "yes." Is it possible that the same screen of this type can fit both pre-2009 convertibles and the new ones? I thought the seats were different.

Those mounting points are in the same location, well, are close enough to the same location that the 1st gen windscreens fit in the 2nd gen.

I am not talking about the fold down windscreen, it's the nylon mesh that attaches to the two front seats.

as it seems to cover the headrest on both seats and has adjustable straps in a number of locations, I would say it would fit any MINI Vert.

Careful

I was going to get the Windblox but could not find anything on the website about what years it would fit. I emailed Tim at Windblox he replied that it will only fit 2008 and older. They have not tooled up for the 2nd Gen. Cabrios at this point in time. I went as far as to order one and then thought to myself better check this out thoroughly. Glad I did.

Hope this helps.

You'll definitely enjoy using the screen. FYI, I ordered the older model with the checkboard pattern on the screen, for my 2010 Cabrio. The checkerboard can only be seen from behind. The driver can't see it. The old model screen fits perfectly on the new Convertibles.
