new baby on way

After a plethora of vehicles over the years (VW, Volvo, MB, BMW), currently in a euro-delivery 2007 BMW 530i6 Sport, I ordered my MINI S Convertible today. I greatly look forward to it. I am not a complete stranger to MINI as my brother and father are both here (each have a Clubman S).

I look forward to fully joining your ranks soon, I am currently active over at bimmerfest and am a 15 year BMWCCA member (also VBMWMO & BMWVMCA - vintage BMW motorcycle orgs).

Dealer says May 1st +/-

So the bigger question is, did you guys get your production numbers?

If you did, call 1-866-ASK-MINI and ask them what week your Production Number is? I'm curious if they are moving them all back or not. Mine was originally a Week 6 or 7, and now it's a Week 10.

Nice combination. The black was our second choice, but my wife and I really liked the Interchange Yellow, so we ended up with this.

We were surprised when the dealer had the actual paint samples and the interior swatches a few weeks back. That made picking the Interchange Yellow very easy for us.

I'm liking both of these cabrios

i'm undesided though on the IY. I do like that you both jumped and got the Aero kits. The factory aero kit is slowly growing on me. Something about it feels cheap. Im saving for the JCW kits right now. Hopefully uncle sames tax refund will put me over the top.

I really like those wheels, i wish they had that opion for the 08 MCS

I am a chronic waxer (& detail fanatic) and just never felt good about the plastic MINI wheel arches.
The basic aero-kit solves my problem since the arches are painted.

IY was my second choice by a very small margin, I nearly ordered it .

Very nice. I see the dealer still has to prep the vehicle, install your sports trips, and what is the black plastic thing that looks like where the rear fog lights goes? I'm guessing something they use to ship the Mini on the vessel.

I also noticed that there is no antenna. Guess the dealer will install that as well.

The black rims looks awesome with the black color. Very nice!

I was at Hendrick's Saturday picking up parts and saw your MINI sitting outside. Had to walk over and have a look! Think I'll have to go with the sport stripes on mine as well. Congrats and enjoy your new MINI.

Awesome color choice. The white sports stripes with the pained factory areo kit looks awesome. Post pics of the interior and the boot...

Raining on and off here last 24 hrs, local flooding, tornado watches, etc.
What a week to pickup a new 'vert
Driving me CRAZY.

Top down pics soon.

So far pleased as punch, everything is just awesome and I have owned cars costing 2x the price.
Quality is just excellent!
Was on the fence about the LSD, but glad I got it, much less torque steer compared to other MINIs I've driven, esp with the Sport button on (where it should be).

That is a beautiful car. The black MINIs are growing on me and I am one who usually prefers the bright colors.

I would also love to see interior pictures. When it stops raining, of course.
