Ok folks, I'm here in England right now, at Silverstone Raceways, at MINI United 09. There are something like 5000 MINI's here, and I've only seen 4 NFR's....what's going on here? Are we that rare a creature?

By the way, does anybody know where the USA group is...I haven't been able to find them anywhere?

I've got pics...of mods...and boy, do they ever know how to decorate MINI's over here...totally unbelievable! I'm looking for ideas for Bubbles to zip up more, but there's just so much here that I don't know where to begin. NFR is still a very rare color, but I've seen a couple of more...CJ, what do you want as a souvenir? Prince William or Harry?

Radio...I'm about 20 mins from the Oxford plant...Do you want me to pull some strings? I don't think they'll get that ship to move much faster?

Last day of MINI United.....today I get to drive a MINI around the racetrack at Silverstone....soooooooo excited!

 

I do think the NFRs are quite rare. I've only ever seen one other than mine on the road, and my MA says that mine is the only one he's ever sold in NFR.

 

I'll take whichever one fits in your suitcase!

Those specs sound great (other than the chrome). And carjoy is right, the wait can get excruciating at times.
