I still haven't seen the NFR in person and still stuck on if I want the S or not. My MA only had the S as a demo and I loved it. So this week I am going to drive a couple hours south to test the justa and the S back to back and also see the NFR in person. Wish me luck

This is the first new car I will ever own, and I am over thinking everything. My OCD is wigging out a bit, just cuz I want everything to be perfect. That and I don't know when I will buy a new car again, so I feel like I only have this one chance to get it right. I know I am being silly and over thinking, but I can't help it.

The current NFR badge was made with Sketchup, then exported to POV Ray for rendering, then final work was done in Photoshop.

Morning all! Taking the MINI out on a road trip this morning. DMC is heading up into the mountains to clean up our adopted one mile of the highway. I hear they are saying SNOW! I'm hoping for just cooler weather!

 

Lilliux, I totally understand the OCD and overthinking. I have rethought this car so many times my head was spinning. For me it came down to the fact that I loved the NFR color and didn't feel like I really needed the extra zip of the S for my kind of driving. That combined with the added cost of the S (which meant I would have to sacrifice options like the leater) and the slightly poorer gas mileage...well you get the idea. I am shooting for a Thursday delivery since I am a teacher and have the day off....Photos will be forthcoming. Hang in there and try not to think too much, just go with your gut and you will end up happy!

My son left the slurpee making machine on and there's more than enough for everyone! And wouldn't you know it! I accidentally spilled some Everclear into the machine too...I thought it would clean the syrup build-up off the sides!

By the by, I went to the "darkside;" I test drove the 'justa' and an 'S' and fell in love with the S. So, I changed my order to the S with Midnight Black* exterior and added sport suspension and limited slip differential.

Really she is still a NFR at heart, she just has an identity crisis
