I never understood black outs. I like chrome. I'd get chrome body color with NFR accents if I could. Kidding?

The chrome looks cheap to me. The black out stuff also looks a little "meaner".

 

I do agree, imho, I plan to do the same as soon as I get mine

 

After I do a nice cleaning today I plan on blacking out the belt line as well. After that I'll want to get the headlight rings and the boot handle, although I'm not exactly sure how I'll do the boot handle...

 

Wonderful thing about Mini's. Everyone has thier own idea of what looks good on em. However, we all agree, that lint is a bad thing!

 

And slurpees are the drink of choice!

 

I think I really like the blackouts! I have a lot of chrome on my car, and it looks good too...but I also really like the blackout options.....Always torn between different options! That's me in the nutshell!

 

Are you getting new wheels too? I have my wheels picked out and ready to go. This is a fun little project!

 

Hadn't planned on it really. And I wasn't able to clean her yesterday, so I still have the chrome belt line. Might be able to get to it tonight, not sure.

Your Clubbie will be gorgeous Lilliux (of course I may be biased ). I was hoping to take delivery on mine today, but the VDC was a bit slower than we hoped so it is looking like Tuesday or Thursday of next week. The wait definitely stinks, but in the end you get exactly what you want, so it is worth it.
