Thanks for all the nice comments He has 215/40 - 17 on 7.5 inch wheels. The look wider than they really are becase of the car being lowered.

That car (aside from the spoiler which makes me a bit ill) looks sick.

 

+1 Nice car. The spoiler is a bit over the top IMHO.

 

The spolier is a " Bigun" for sure but it is our version of the Mini R-56 Challenge wing . We were asked to come up with a similar unit asthe original is unavailable to the general public. Blame Mini on this one This is the thread that started it all.

This is a very enhanced picture of my Mini. My husband sent a picture of my car to this guy on his Shelby GT500 forum. He's a genius. This is one of his more simple pictures. I can't believe what I've seen this guy do. By the way the original pic is the one I use in the bottom of each post here. My Hubby is actually in the drives seat crouched down with his hands and face plastered on the window looking out. My son was in the back seat looking towards the camera also. He cleaned it up big time and added his choice of backgrounds.

So, if I blow this up and place it on the family wall of pics, what do you think will happen?

I think that would definitely qualify as a MINI "Pinup" shot.

 

139 pages....and more comments than pictures! It would be nice to have a Picture thread ONLY without all the added comments and multiple reposts of the same pictures....just a thought. Moderators... give this any thought?

yea..I know....but I dont think anyone around here wants to see my M Roadster or FJ Cruiser. I have to wait 2 months before my MINI arrives....so I need to see everyone elses! Nice MINI BTW. Aerokit looks much better with wheel arches painted. Those with unpainted arches look unfinished. Good job!

 

See thats the whole reason for this thread and allowing comments It allows everyone to post their current mods and what their cooper looks like and others get to admire and enjoy other MINIs

It's enjoyable to see the pics and have comments relating to them. Heck I don't even mind the off topic stuff in posts, which usually makes it even more interesting.

Just sit back and chill a bit. It brings the heart rate and blood pressure down. Heck, you may even live just a little longer.

 

Yeah, it'd be boring just seeing pictures and no comments... this is a friendly, chatty, and interesting forum. No boring moments here!

 

Photos without comment is just an album. This thread is more like a journal of everyone's new R56 experience. The words of excitement from a new owner make the photos that much richer.

I think he's referring more to other people posting comments about other owners picture, not the comments accompanying the actual pictures.

 

Correct. I guess I am just accustomed to my BMW boards where usually a photo thread is just that, not everyone under the sun making comments and recopying the picture into the reply thread, etc...just makes for a lot of page flipping just to see a new picture. If I wanted to comment, I would do so in private or create a separate thread for comments. Thats just what IM accustomed to.... guess I will just have to get use to this messy thread the way it is....
