It washed out almost all the photos and especially some of the cool shots I had planned. So, here are a few of the photos I was able to salvage, yet more artful photos coming in the coming weeks.

more external/body mod's in the works:
-rear JCW aero kit diffuser is going to get carbon fiber treatment
-slightly shorter springs

Rest of the stuff I am doing is on the engine.

Oh man. That's almost exactly how I want mine to look. Looks damn fine though1

Installing Euro-Armrest

20 minute job max. You just need a Torx-#40 and you first remove the two rear inner seat track Torx bolts,
then you just loosen the two front ones.

The Armrest comes on two steel arms that run alongside console sides and slip under seat tracks
and then you replace and tighten those Torx Bolts.

The minspeed website will show theirs with tan leather, but they come with gray top pad that matches standard MINI interior.
Six phillips screws remove padded portion of top and the factory upholstery is held in place by double-stick tape.

I used contact cement, but you could reuse their tape for your upholstery material as it is locked at edge by its construction.

I like the stripes, I go back and forth on putting them on my dark silver MCS (posted a page back on this thread).

I think I am going to keep them off for now though.

Viola Cooper

Viola just had her roof graphic installed and I haven't posted a picture of her to this thread yet, so now seems like a good time. I plan to decal her side views with black jacks, and I am debating on a few small interior mods, like replacing the ebrake and shifter boots with suede. If any one has any experience with the suede boots from Out Motoring, PM me please!

I do not have a shot of the rear of the car, but I just installed her "actual size" graphic, from out motoring and the interior of the car is completely black inside, along with cloth seats. I'll see if I can get some decent photos of those later on.

These look great! I was planning on getting a set of the angled side stripes once she arrives. Now I just have to find a shop to install them without overcharging me!

The whole look is really great. Everytime I see Silver w/dark RBs I'm sorry I didn't get the bright silver... Just that I've been living w/that color for 10 years on my other car so wanted something different. I really need to get those 17"ers to use w/snows this winter.

Nelzzz, a question. So do I understand correctly that these 17" Rota RBs have a hub bore size that is ever so slightly larger than what the MINI uses? If so, did you use some tin foil or something else to make a solid rim-to-hub mating or did you just rely on the bolt seating to provide rim centering?

I did rely on the bolt seating, the tire shop I go to is pretty good and they test the car before they let you take the car. They car drives fine with the Rota's at all speeds.

Here's our girl-- but without her decal. The word MYSTIQUE should be on the side, where the S is actually the cooper S logo...

i like the R56 side label ...I may have to copy you

Hey Nelzzz,
I was looking at your signature and had to actually go out to my car to see if our Mini's read "Coop S" or "Cooper S" ...your signature totally threw me off!

hey, where did you find that R56 label? I know I saw a site that made any label you wanted in 3D chrome lettering like yours, yet can't find it now.
