If I wanted to comment, I would do so in private or create a separate thread for comments. Thats just what IM accustomed to.... guess I will just have to get use to this messy thread the way it is....
...snide jabbing remarks aside... I've got a few thousand posts across a good many other message boards; I never saw that.

Granted, if that's the 'guidelines' set by the thread starter, and the thread gets legs, that's something else. So then start one clearly stating the thread posting guidelines. Maybe it'll take root.

...my Factory JCW MCS is yet to land (one day to hit the shore), until then here's shots of one of my other cars if you'd accept that instead... Warning, Lots of comments about the pictures, just in case.

p.s. i could do w/o folks quoting an entire multi-image post in a reply too, here or on any board...

I completely agree. The copying of the photos drives me crazy especially when it's right after the OP.

I agree with quotes including the photos. That just adds unnecessary load time and bulk to the thread. All the comments are great though.

Got this guy a couple months ago. The dealer has silver bonnet stripes for me, I'm going to check them out in a couple weeks before they potentially go on.

I have no photography experience and the first two were taken with my cell phone...anyway enjoy

200+ mile drive to bring this home. The first time driving in Kansas was pleasant.

blackjack side scuttles

MA said this was the first ones they had installed. When I was considering having them added to the car, I couldn't find a pic anywhere...so here it is in case anyone is interested! I had to have them when I saw them in the configurator (see my screen name!), and got the dealer to throw in at no charge.

New 08 Cooper S

...So far I haven't seen a single R56 in Portland, OR that's dark silver like this. If anyone has one or knows, let me know, I'm curious!

Thanks!

...I'm a 2nd Lt. waiting for flight training. I'm thinking once I get my wings I'll replace the logo with some legitimate wings (if I can find some big enough to cover the same area!)

I'm a newbie. Just bought an 08 Mini S, color blue lightning with a black roof--love it!! I've been lurking, looking for great ideas for a vanity license plate. Sadly, all the good ones are taken in the state of OH. Also, I want to put some striping on my MINI and can't decide between 2 stripes or 1. I'd really like to go up the hood, over the roof and down the backside. Any thoughs, opinions, suggestions? Thanks! Cindy

Hey Cindy we have a group of MINI owners that gets together every third Saturday morning at a Tim Horton's over in New Albany. This is coming weekend is the one for July. We'd love to see your new S and there are people there to give you input on your stripes.
Here's a link to the forum where you can get info:
