Hmm. Interesting optical illusion then in the photo. I would have thought they were a bit larger than stock as they seem to have a little less wheel gap. Compare the gap to n1tr0's car a few posts earlier. Must be all in the photo angle.Originally Posted by soul embrace

I'm so excited! Just picked up a new set of wheels and tires for the car. For the record: OZ Chrono HTs with Falken Azenis RT-615 (215/40/17).

More in my gallery.

One thing in regard to the interior, I saw this on MotoringFile in the US JCW post: "The Pacific Blue interior will end production on August and will be replaced by Ray Cream in September." I guess mine will be rare down the line or something.

Did you transfer you TPMS to your new rims? If so was it a simple thing to do?

I have a relatively early build MCS (pre-August 07), so the TPMS system is passive so no motoring software was necessary. Just bolted the new wheels on and off I went. Originally Posted by cutters68

I think that if you have the active system, the cost is around 100 bucks for the equipment and I don't know if you can transfer the TPMS equipment. I'm just not the guy to answer that question.
BTW, don't know if you know but if you have the rubber valve stems then you have the passive system. Metal valve stems means the active system. Just an FYI so you (or anyone else) doesn't pay for equipment you don't need.

VERY HOT ride, Thumper! Did you do the springs yourself??? The car looks great......
Did you tint the windows, too? I don't recall seeing that in your description.

Nope I did not do the springs myself. Danny at MINICorsa in Van Nuys, CA did them for me...in 15 minutes! Would have taken me all day
.Yup they are tinted. It's supposedly 13%, but it looks more like 20% to me. I can still see out of it at night, but its nice and dark during the day...I'm very happy with it.

That is IMO one of the best looking R56's I have seen.
Are those black chrome headlights? Where did you get those, factory? I didn't see an option for that when I ordered. Absolutely love it!
