It is a matter of preferance. I didnt want to draw attention to my control arms, I thought the bright alluminum was out of place in the under carriage especially since I plan to paint the muffler, but I can see why some would like them as is

For some reason, I'm only seeing a graphic, and not a pic of DVLMINI's car... but I would say more than painting the control arms... LOWER THE CAR FIRST !!! Once lowered, not only does it look much more "MINI", the control arms are hardly visible.
That's funny...go ahead and rub it in:impatient...It's a T shirt and badge graphic and it's the only R56 I have at present.
Sorry . I wasn't quite getting it, especially when someone was suggesting you paint the control arms and such... I get it now: You were responding to someone else's comments towards another vehicle... not the pic you posted. My bad.
Wow.. that color looks really white to me but isn't Mini white an off-white
color more closer to light beige?
Ive been dying to post this for ages but ive had trouble signing up i can finally post
Anyway, to answer, ive found the pw to vary in different light. In winter for example it appears to be a creamy type of colour and sometimes at night depending on the light. I just wanted to post some examples of my mini.
My mini at night is quite beige but these ones taken in sunshine is a lot more whiter, close to pure white i would say
Ive since had the rear windows done in limo black tint and it looks a lot nicer
Not my car but a BMW press car I had for the Dragon.
Gabe, Looks like your press car was like my new one except for the rear fogs and wheels. My only option is sport suspension. You reported why I love this car so accurately in White Roof 156, Thanks!
Also courtesy of Killboy:
My former MINIs were an 02 S (June build), an 04 S JCW, and an 06 JustaCooper. I like driving this one the best. Keep up the good work!
