Web Spoke clicking fixed?

Hi all,
I was wondering if I need to be concerned about the clicking problem with the Web Spokes. I have them on my spec and need to know if i should change them to the Flame Spokes.
Thanks

Don't take your chances. Pick another rim.

Actually, it can be found here as well.

Many people have complained about a distinct clicking noise coming from the wheels. From the threads, MiniUSA knows about it, but i could not find if it has been resolved.

UGH

Too bad. Mine are allready on order.

All the other stock rims offered looked horrible this year IMO. I figure if it starts, I'll shop for some 18's at that time

I don't know what percentage of Webspoke owners have had the problem, though. Both of our MINIs have the Webspokes, and we've never had any clicking (or any other) problems with them. I agree that they're one of the better-looking stock wheels.

I looked through the past posts and I didn't see any complaints since early last year. I would guess then that it hasn't been much of a problem for a little while (or maybe people just got tired of mentioning it). Since I've ordered them for my R56, I'll assume the problems been addressed.

Yah those Webspokes are worthless

They make soooo much noise that folks are having to pay people just to get rid of them. But being the nice guy I am, I'd be willing to pay a little something to help you guys get rid of yours

Realoem.com shows the R56 as having a different part number for the webspoke than the previous gen. The threads you posted links to (pretend I read each one in its entirety) refer to the R53 instead of the R56.

I've had mine for just 8 weeks now with 2550 miles and I haven't noticed any noise from the wheels. The dash is another matter.

No ticking from mine. But only have 300 miles on the car. I will be looking out for this sound.

We may have just gotten lucky with our cars. Both of them have Web-spokes (April 2006 & Sept 2006 build dates), and with about 25k miles between the two cars, we haven't heard any strange sounds coming from the wheels.
