Things I discovered from the 2007 brochure

Ok, a few things I didn't know about and hadn't seen mentioned online anywhere.

The sports button is standard on the S - (old news) BUT also comes on the Cooper!

The 6 disk cd changer you can get - is MP3 capable!

Ipod adapter is much improved. Can skip individual tracks instead of playlists.

Seatbelt sensors for the back seat.

Storage Package standard on both Cooper and Cooper S. Says available 1st quarter 2007 - not sure if first arrivals will have it.

Service interval counter now appears to have date in addition to mileage for when next service is due.

Not too sure but cooper automatic may have paddle shifters.

The brochure doesn't mention the sports suspension other than 1 sentence - "The taut set-up of the optional sport suspension is guaranteed to climb to the very top."

*don't hold me responsible if any info is wrong - it came from the new BIG brochure.

The MCa does not have paddle shifters. It does have a tiptronic mode though, but that's clicking the stick forward and back.

It better. The literature from the Miniusa site says it does have the paddle shifters. The config says it does as well.

Both the MCa I saw at the Phila Auto Show had paddle shifters on the wheel.

Except you can't get it yet, and it's going to cost $450.

Great, another thing to go wrong and start blinking lights at you.

Storage package?

I wonder if that's a projected date, or if it's a "whichever comes first" thing.

It does. I sat in a CR/W MCa this evening at the Motor Trend International Auto Show. It has the paddle shifters on the steering wheel.

I could have sworn that i saw paddle shifters on a Chili Red MCa at the Buffalo auto show, they were (I beleive) two paddles each silver in color placed approximatly at 10 and 2 on the steering column.

Yep, maybe we saw the same one then. This one had the Piano Black dash (which looks MUCH better and more elegant in person, IMO), and the 15" 5-Star Spooler wheels.

Ok, this isn't exactly in the brochure, but it wasn't worth starting a new thread for...

Check this out. If you select the factory Aero kit, it'll recommend a package for you... 0$ worth of equipment for only $100 more!! It looks funnier in the screen grab attached.

MINIUSA has deals SO great you'll swear they're CRAAAAAZY!!!
