I am at an estimated finish of 1/17 so thats puts me in this group. Where did you get those codes?

 

I called ask MINI and now my schedule is back and I am at 150 with a completion date of 1/18. VIN number in hand!

 

My MA called me today and said his printout (!) showed "conception has occured." I don't know if he saw the mating or what, but he said production has started. We'll see if he's right. Both the online Owner's Lounge and the Telephone Voice still just show it on order, with no scheduled date.

Interesting that the MA has some sort of "inside line" on this (if he does!)...

 

Looks like I am in this group. My MA said that production began on 1/11 and will finish on 1/18.

I guess several of us will be on the boat together.

My online status is now "scheduled for production" and I have a VIN!

 

Scheduled completion date 1/17. Now for the next wait - shipping.

 

<<sigh>> mine is still in "scheduled for production with no confirmed date of production" i'm happy for all of you that have a VIN - now the fun begins for you - hopefully mine will be starting down the line soon.

Ordered my MCS online through MINI of the Woodlands this week and it is already in production. According to ASK MINI it should be built by Wednesday. Guess I got lucky in filling a slot of their allottment. Looking forward to taking delivery ASAP. I decided to pass on the audio systems; just got the HiFi. Hoping to add HD and iPod later through Dice. Love the dealership. The other dealership in the Houston area, Momentum, was not responsive. Let's hear it for my MA, Art!

Hello my fellow week 3 2007 motoring enthusiasts! Mine is scheduled for completion on 1/17 so hopefully it stays that way. I heard there is a camera at the Panama Canal that might show the ship, when we find out what ship it is... I'm on the west coast in California.

 

YAY!!! Just checked the OL and I have a VIN! that means I'll be progressing down the "birth-canal" (ew) very shortly.

Update - my car entered prodution on 1/13 - so I guess that means it should be done roughly around 1/18?

 

Production of my baby will be complete on 1/17 also. Very Very excited, anyone have an idea on the timeframe from when production is complete until it will reach the west coast (northern CA)? My MA has advised that it should be hear roughly at the end of Feb early March.

 

That sounds about right. My MA told me early March delivery as mine is scheduled for completion on 1/17 also. I hear it takes 3-4 weeks to ship through the Panama Canal to CA. Then it hangs out at the VDC for a while before it gets trucked to dealers. Do MINIs headed for Northern California also go through the same VDC as Southern California? Just curious.

 

AskMini just advised me shes in the paint shop getting a coat of BRG and will be completed on 1/17! haven't got a VIN number yet, not sure where to go about finding it.

My cars was in the body shop yesterday and is in the paint shop today. Due to be rollin' tomorrow -- right on time.
I'm thinking the week of or the week after the launch will mark my drive home from the dealer. I'm so glad these cars had been released in the UK before we are getting ours. Many of the minor issues (mentioned on MINI2) should be tweeked out by now! Fingers crossed
