I have finally received my production number for my MCS. My MA at East Bay Mini told me it should be here by early March 07. I am so excited!

I was 23 on their list, I think they had an allocation of 40 cars this first time around and I was lucky enough to get through! Are you waiting to order your car from them too?

 

Doh!!! you got a production number!!! I'm number 26, and I haven't gotten my number from them yet, but I got an email stating the same thing that the car would be built in Jan, and delivered late Feb early March. So stoked.

I know it took me sometime to get my production number, after several e-mails and phone calls I finally got it. Looks like you have some nice specs too! Hey you never know we might bump into each other at the dealership when we pick them up, I'll look out for your MINI. Now just wish March was here!

I think I'm around 60 or so because I became interested in the MCS late. I also wanted the Nav so that won't be available until march production anyways. Good luck and enjoy the wait........

 

Awesome!!! I can't wait. Yep I definitely agonized over the spec for a while. The main thing was the wheel size. I like the 17" wheels, but when I autox it I'll have to remove those wheel covers every time, and the 17s are more likely to get punished on our silky smooth bay area roads. hahah. I figure I can buy the 17s later if I really want them.
