congrats! Just curious, was there a charge for the white turn-signal lights? On the MINIUSA configuarator, it's was stated as a no charge option and on the option list, it's $100.

I agree with Wonderboy. I'm curious why you didn't wait until there is a JCW option available for the 2007. Or are you depending on third party mods. Or do you plan to keep your JCW?

Nah... I've had turbo'd VWs and Audi's before - I'm looking forward to playing with a new powerplant. :-)

Krut...

Excellent news!

I'll be looking forward to seeing the pictures. And you know, you could always convert this new MCS into a JCW later.

Congrats on your new MINI!

Listen not to the doomsayers and negativists! Take pride in your R56 and go motor!

I have no doubt that your new R56 will bring you as many smiles as your R53 JCW... Maybe even more of them!

Very nicely spec'd out. Enjoy!

That's cool. No doubt you'll be able to crank up the hp plenty. Diff'rent strokes. (No pun intended. )

Not keeping the JCW - frankly not really impressed with it compared to what's out there in MINI community for mods - the only reason I got the JCW was that the dealer had a off-shelf kit that he wanted to move and I got a very good deal on it ($5100 installed). I wanted a stripper MCS with LSD and the only thing the dealer had on the lot was a loaded MCS.... The other reason is I've had R56s since 2002 - I'm ready for a change - while the 05-06 MCS's I've owned were subtly different, I want something that keeps me in the MINI realm and keeps me from straying to the VW community again.

It's currently scheduled for the first week of January production - I'm wondering if that's to coincide with the launch 1 Feb 07..... Based on when I ordered my 05 - it was produced 04July04 and arrived 31Jul04 - superfast track for some odd reason. I wouldn't be surprised if this showed up for the launch of the 07s.

Sweet Well congrats. I like you have had Turbo Charged VW's. I wanted something different so last friday i went out and got a MINI. I love the handeling on the MINI, but it was so easy to make power with my VW and it seems like with these cars we have to spend so much money to get alittle gain.

hey hey congratulations man!!!!!

going 2nd gen eh-? can't wait to see it.

I've ordered something myself.... just can't stop buying those cars!!

I'm keeping the 06MCSC though, I still dig that car way more than any other MINI I've ever had. But what am I adding you ask?

a 2007 BMW 335i Coupe... twin turbo inline 6, Titanium Silver with a black and stainless interior, 6 speed stick and the sport package. (no Idrive )

It's due in February, so yes, I have that torturous WAIT once more ... sent u a pm

I still think you are 1 MINI up on me (this is 5, right?) they could possibly both get here about the same time, in which case I'd say ok iff'n I can test run your 07
