I typically don't care for colored wheels like that... but they look really snazzy in your pic! Terrific job!

Well done indeed! I didn't realize the car was blue in the original picture until I looked at the link from Automobile!

(Thanks for the new wallpaper pics, too!!)

How hard is it for you to change the colors? I've been thinking of a blue or dark grey with a black roof. Same wheels as the original photo

Where'd those 5-bolt wheels come from?

Every MINI I've see has four-bolt wheels. But every R56 picture I can find right now has covers over the hub that hide the bolts.

Of course I could be imagining the whole thing.

well, if you looked at the link i provided, you will see the original image that i used to manipulate. you can clearly see that the R56 is still a 4 lug. The rims i used are a 5 lug, obviously, and as i stated before, the pictures i have provided were manipulated using photoshop. i used the rims off a pre-existing picture that i have on my computer image gallery from a different car (MKV GTi) to create said image. but any concerns you may have are rather redundant; it is not uncommon for people to change their lug-pattern via after-market. Thus, something like this is completly feasible.

Not a worry, as you say the lug pattern can be changed w/after-market parts. Just wondered which car they came from. They looked a bit like the new cross-spoke option MINI is offering, but not quite.

You know what, I wish I could take credit for that P shop, but I got it off of Mini2. I'm a GD minor, so as I work more w/ P shop, I'll be sure to try out some stuff on the R56 and post it here in the future.
