When you get to the "build your own MINI" it suggests you'll be building a 2006 model... but it's not. It's the R56 all the way.

Thanks for posting, but it's not that hot, mostly because there's not a lot showing interior-wise, and the UK paks are just plain weird. Think I'll wait 'til MINIUSA has theirs up and running sometime after 11/18. Here's hoping they won't take forever to do this, because they have hands-down the best configger.

 

Yeah I tried to build the R56 on the UK site too and it is pretty lame, but thanks for posting , it's always nice to see what my future MCS will look like. Cannot wait for the MINIUSA site to be updated so that can get get an accurate price on what I will be paying for my 07 currently with a deposit on.

 

hopefully the configurator on the MINIUSA site will be better.

 

The New Configurator shoul be up in early DEC.!!!!!!

That's what the European configurators have always been like -- so, No - I don't expect that the US configurator will go in that direction.
They are useful tools while we wait for the US configurator though -- if nothing else to check out pictures of some of the interior options.

 

just for your info, you can choose other colors now on the configurator such as pepper white, lightning blue, etc.

It's nice to get a look at Lightning Blue. It's odd, though, because neither Laser Blue nor Lightning Blue resemble the MINIs that have been available as press cars. The Laser Blue in the configurator looks a lot lighter than the photos and Lightning Blue is darker.
