Good find.... Looks nice.. but the interior is still a little strange looking for me...

 

A little??? Everything aside from the seats needs to be drug out back and shot.

Don't like anything about it, I miss my 2003. I'll be looking for a used 05 or 06 when the time comes.

 

Eww ... I knew there was a reason I wasn't interested in a new car. What is with those yellow reflectors in the headlights? Looks very strange

And all the MINI wings in the interior?:impatient

 

Some of the pictures showed "clear" turn signals in the headlight cluster; so, hopefully there will be an option to get the turn signal as "clear+yellow bulb". I agree with you, it sticks out too much....

I can see myself getting used to some of the weird chages of the "new new MINI", but one thing I wont is how high this car seems to ride... Why do we need that much ground clearance?

 

Like the black grilles...Aero style I presume?

the inside= bleh though, and it looks like it needs the Atkins diet! getting a little paunchy!

I will stay with my 04 MCS thank you....After fiting mine with that superb Milltech exhaust...the S in the movie sounded rather mundane as well!

I've come to like R56 alot but I'm not sure about those videos...does the car make the scenery look good or does the scenery make the car look good. In the end, I guess both are simply stunning!

 

Did it get taller off the ground??? GAW!!! AWFUL RIDE HEIGHT! AS BAD, IF NOT WORSE THAN THE VW MKV GTI!

 

Anyone know the spec for ride-height for 07 and 06/05?

Interesting... watch the Cooper video and notice how it shows the door sill later in the video around 3:56 and it says "MINI Cooper S". Course, you can also notice the blue, so looks like they just cut that portion of the video from the Cooper S and inserted there. No biggie, just thought it was funny.

 

one thing i don't like about the interior is how the stereo and speedo cluster are one in the same, i can only presume that those who would want to have a different head unit would be out of luck!

 

I said from the first 'spy shots' that the yellow lense for the turn signal was plain FUGLY...

The only way I'd buy the 'S' is if I could:
a) Get the Clear Turn Signal Lense
b) Change out that crap honeycomb grille for the Chrome Slats...

 

Arent they worried about cracking their strut mounts on those cobblestones???
