Really hoping someone can help me. I have been doing some work on my 2007 Mini Cooper S and accidentally shut the bonnet before attaching the cable release! Totally stupid mistake as I have a mechanic due to arrive tomorrow morning to change the clutch on the car. Is there any way to manually release the bonnet? I already have the wheel liners removed but can’t see a way of getting access to release latches

 

Okay panic averted! I managed to remove the driver side (rhs) wheel and trim to release the right hand side latch and the other side I managed to reach from underneath the car. Took me ages and a lot of cursing but I managed to do it using a long pry bar in case anyone else ever does something this stupid.
